  • Persian potatis patties(Kookoo seebzamini, کوکو سیب زمینی) is an Iranian appetizer that can also be served as a main dish. Despite its simplicity, it's very delicious and its ingredients are usually found at home. In this video, I cooked this dish in two different ways.
    Suggestions:
    - Feel free to use your favorite spices to customize the flavor.
    - Chopped parsley can be a delightful addition to enhance the dish's freshness.
    - Serve this flavorful dish with yogurt or a yogurt-based dip for a perfect pairing.
    - You have the option to incorporate 2 tbsp all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp baking powder into the raw potato patties.
    Raw potato patties
    Ingredients:
    4 medium potatoes, grated
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 large carrot, grated
    4 eggs
    1 ts turmeric
    1 ts salt
    1/2 ts black pepper
    1 tbs fresh thyme leaves, chopped
    Vegetable oil for frying
