Trekking 2022 - Nordkalott- and Gränsleden, Solo from Skjomen to Storå

Anfang September 2022 war ich alleine auf Nordalottleden und Gränsleden unterwegs. Ich startete in Skjombotton, die Tour endete in Storå. Neun Nächte - vier in meinem Zelt, fünf in Hütten. Viel Zeit für ca. 90 km. Dafür Zeit am Nachmittag nach der Ankunft am Etappenziel, um das tolle Wetter zu genießen.
Die Verpflegung für die Zeit muss komplett im Rucksack mitgenommen werden.
Eine sehr schöne und attraktive Tour, wenn das Wetter halbwegs mitspielt. Die letzten beiden Etappen sind nicht einfach und bei schlechter Sicht und Regen nicht zu empfehlen.
At the beginning of September 2022 I was touring alone on Nordalottleden and Gränsleden. I started in Skjombotton, the tour ended in Storå. Nine nights - four in my tent, five in huts. A lot of time for about 90 km. But time in the afternoon after arrival at the stage destination to enjoy the great weather.
The food for the time must be taken completely in the backpack.
A very nice and attractive tour, if the weather cooperates halfway. The last two stages are not easy and not recommended in poor visibility and rain.

Another great video of your tour in this fantastic remote area. Stunning scenery, although some of the rocky boulder sections look tiresome! I did a 9 day tour at end of September 2022 and also had great weather, not quite so remote although saw no one else out walking. But this was in the area around Hunddals, Cunojavre , Lossi and Caihnavaggi, adding in a few hills. But your trips are great inspiration to go to the more remote areas. Can’t wait to try in 2023! Thanks for these videos.

Yes, apparently there are also very few hikers in Narvikfjell, where you were hiking (and where I was hiking also with my sons in August). In any case, significantly less than on Kungsleden or Padjelanta.
And yes, this tour is more challenging than the trail in Narvikfjell. But highly recommended.
For this area I recommend going earlier than the end of September. I wouldn't have wanted to do this trail with a thin layer of snow.
And I hope to be able to tour again in 2023
