There seems to be a misunderstanding on how logia and haki works... When a logia user transforms into their element that's essentially still them just in fluid form, so if you hit them with haki you will hit a part of their body. Basically the flowy state is their whole body... just keep watching and you´ll understand. In this case, when Law used scalpel he used haki otherwise he wouldn't have been able to take smoker heart out... Remember when luffy hit smoker or crocodile, even if they were in their "body" form he still couldn't touch them, same thing here, is not like Law's fruit is above logia logic, he is fighting smoker with haki as well otherwise he wouldn't be able to hit him ever!

Nope it's not about materializing, Remember smoker is made of smoke, even in his human form you cannot hit him. For example, in his human form even if you shoot him or throw a regular punch it will just pass through him even if he is unaware, but Law's technique hit smoker which is law using haki. Side note there is a common misconception that haki nullify devil fruit, they donot they just make it so you can hit a devil fruit user. For example luffy and smoker will get hurt with haki but they will still be smoke and rubber whereas Seaprism or Blackbeards devil fruit take away their properties of being rubber or smoke they just become a normal person like Nami or Zoro. Sorry for the long winded explanation but this might clear out lot of misconceptions about devil fruit, haki and sea prism stone if you guys do read it.
Haki can also be used to defend against people's devil fruit hax which is to some extent "nullifying" it, as Law himself explains much later in the series.
People says that this arc is underrated but I enjoyed this more than Fishman Island arc a lot. This arc is so fun and it's a perfect setup for bigger events!
Law is dangerous to fight in snow and rain for anything that falls into his room be it rain drops or snow flakes he can switch places with whatever he chooses it’s so cracked smoker was already at a disadvantage 😂

I think the reason why Tashigi and Smoker react like that is more so related to a shock from their body being cut and Smoker looking at his physical body. Like a reaction of shock to it. Of course Law could have applied some extra damage perhaps!

smoker fainted I think because he shocked that law took his heart, seeing there is a hole in your chest for sure will shake you and makes you feel "oh shit, I'm dead". so I think it's not about blood not reaching smoker's body because his heart gone.

He met bepo, shachi and penguin like, right after that and that led to him starting his crew. Luffy had Rayleigh to train him, which helped him develop specific techniques and better unserstand haki, but Law has presumably just been building on what he knew beforehand with no guidance. It's like if you were training under a martial artist vs you took a lot of karate classes until you were 13 and then had to teach yourself everything else
I feel like luffy sees law as a friend from now on so I’m guessing no real fight will happen plus I want law in luffys crew, I got used to law in the crew lol
luffy would dominate law, infact im pretty sure luffy is counter to law.. law's df's weakness is petty simple; if you are inside his room he can basically do anything to you but if you are outside his room he cant do anything to you.. his df relies too much on room, if you attack him before he cast it then he's basically a punching bag.. and lastly as far as i know, all of his attacks are visible, so its dodgeable to people who are agile like luffy especially those who have haki as the show progress, there will be more showcase of his weakness so yeah its not really that op, but its still petty cool when it comes to abilities.. its unique and cool, totally my 2nd fav df, just below kuma's df
It dosen't nullifies it. It only let you hit the Real boddy of logia user, only BB can komplettly prevent you from using a DF. Kuzan on MF did get a havy bodycheck from Jozu, a direct hit that caused damage but Kuzan was still ice crumbles.
If the haki user is strong then his DF can make more stronger, this fight Law's haki is way more stronger than Smoker because if Smokers Haki is more stronger Law can't get his heart that easily note this guys
