She was 16 at the time, and I think the dream of every pubescent boy. :) She also released some of her songs in English under the name Blossom, e.g. her Hit Herz an Herz, as Heart to Heart: ruclips.net/video/QyVu03_6Vsw/видео.html I find it enviable that she is now 43 and has hardly changed in appearance :) This collab of LOTL with Blümchen is very refreshing, especially because it gives a really good 80s song a real boost.

I was laughing so hard when I watched that video first. The look (of the video) brought back some long forgotten memories of the 1990ies, when Blümchen at least in Germany was quite someone. I think LOTL did a great job both with the cover and the video. And I agree, it is a fun song, absolutely. Your pronounciation of "Blümchen" is pretty spot on, btw. Just like "München" (Munich) it's somewhat hardcore for non-native speakers, so kudos. :)
As a swede this song is very familar. Roxette and Abba were swedish national treasures on the pop/rock scene during the 80s. Chris was a huge Roxette fan, it was very fun he showed stuff he had saved from that time, including letters he had wrote to Per and Marie, in swedish 😃 Great reaction. Just listened to this the other day. Good cover. They kept it basically the same as the original, just with their flavor/sound on it. Much like how Disturbed does a cover, in my opinion.

The album blood and glitter came out a year ago. It's not on the latest 'Weapons of Mass Seduction' - another great album.
