In this episode we head for the East Coast of Yorkshire, we kept running from the rain then it finally caught up with us in the middle of the night
WHO WE ARE?
Emma and Reese a married couple who for the last 10 years have been TRAVELLING around in various CAMPER-VANS. Now with our little dog Daisy we TRAVEL around in our SELF CONVERTED VAN showing you how to VISIT the VERY BEST PLACES the UK and EUROPE have to offer. We don’t pretend to be anything but ourselves and believe in always staying positive.
Our CAMPER VAN called Romany is a 2019 FORD TRANSIT VAN that is our TINY HOME ON WHEELS.
We have also bought a 57ft CANAL BOAT which we are currently converting and will be going between the VAN and the BOAT to live life to the fullest and bring you enjoyable CREATIVE VIDEO CONTENT.

Hi Emma and Reese , I've just found your channel (shame on me ) and I'm strolling down memory lane . In 1998 , the kids were making their way thro' life and my wife and I decided to elbow "normal" life so we sold everything , bought an old VW and headed off to follow the sun , we were in our mid 50's at the time . We spent most winters in Mediteranean Spain where it remains mild and the rest of the year travelling . The occasional visit to UK to see the family where without fail we were evicted from lay-bys and car-parks , what are these people afraid of ? I must just give a shout to Southhampton Police Station where we were allowed to stay in the car park and we were even given a lovely breakfast fry-up !! We visited dozens of European and North African countries until 2012 when sadly my wife suffered a stroke . After 6 weeks in Intensive Care in Madrid , we returned to UK and I cared for her until she left me in 2016 . I'm now 85 ( today 18th April) and with mobility probs , I've swapped the van for a mobility scooter so I'm still able to get about a bit . Fun to see the old fashioned seaside with buckets, spades and sticks of rock, brings back memories of a childhood summer 60 0dd years ago before it was fashionable to fly off to Spain or Florida much cheaper way back then to visit one of our wonderful seaside towns though nowadays its just as expensive !! thank you for sharing Take care all and a hug for Miss Daisy x

Your doing really well emma 😊 but keep warm and dry ..the film the gift .i think i saw that years ago was it about a tarot reader ..i use to talk about that film but ive never met anyone else that had seen it ..Scarborough looked so britsh 😂 love it never been there but just to see the sea and seguls ..thankyou and yes ..I WISH IT WOULD STOP FLIPPING RAINING .and why are drips on the bed its the same on boats guaranteed any drips will. Be on the bed lol .❤

Great you can look over the tacky Reese and remember what it was like, and I don't think there was ever a kid that the first hit wasn't the bucket and spade shop with a bundle of paper flag. How many places can you go now and get a pot of tea for two on tray on the beach and enjoy a boiled egg sandwich with a touch of sand in it. Your on the mend Emma, with a little moan about the prices, and very good to see, but your right the backstreet cafe are always the best bet. Typical seaside day out, pissing down with rain but it is English for you.
