I’m also interested in the result of the turbo coolant routing that you’ve opted for- are you able to share any results of it working as intended? I’m currently the TTE route and if as you suppose it only opens with the heater active it’s crazy.
@@jlfvanzyl The route I'm running seems to work fine. I'm not 100% confident my criticism of the TTE route is totally correct but that's just the conclusion I came to. Have you got your charge cooled turbo Mr2 running?
@@threepotMR2 good to know! Yup, all running and mapped at RRR a couple of weekends ago. It’s slightly insane. Exceeded goals and only at 10psi (wastegate) charge cooling is definitely the way to go.
I wish I'd K swapped my other MR2 instead of the 2AR conversion, but at the same time if this makes 200hp and so far its cost £1665.88 in parts and material its very cost effective performance. I wonder if it'll be reliable though?

When you look at your logs, how much boost does yours peak at?
I just bought the turbokits 2zz kit for my mr2, cost me alot
Did you say blow through MAF? Go MAP mate.
I'm not sure the Apexi PFC can easily be converted to Speed Density config, unless you know something?
