i dont understand why on they site they say to skip to the later seasons if im a 1st listener what if theres a refrence to a pst episode and i dont get the ref i would have to goback and listen to the 1st few seasons to get that ref if u see what i mean
one of the main reasons is the quality of the episodes. If you start with episode 1 there is a "cheese factor" that you have to get through, and new listeners may not continue listening if their first impression is too poor. The season 4 episodes can be almost stand alone stories, and are of much higher quality.
Nice drama but too many voices sound like they are coming out a a communicater. Wish they could have all been in studio together. (Waste of time there being no part 2)
Arrr it’s 2 nov 2024 20.56 pm louds ov fireworks going offthis played loud is for sake of dogs listening. 1 ov my French bull dogs got his head next to iPad Think he like s. It me self arrr killled a bit ov time would I replay. Yes sitting in garden on a wwarm Sumer night with headphone.
Not to nitpick but if you're going to use it intro like that it should have a different wording and purpose than that of the Starship Enterprise. Think in terms of the second episode of Starship Exeter the Tressaurian intersection the way they did their intro. That's the best terms of which I could make a suggestion along those lines other than that awesome.
You really should keep in mind that this is a pilot episode. We really were feeling our way around and it's really more of a curiosity than a regular episode. That said, one of the pleasures those of us who work on the show have is comparing our early efforts to our later episodes and hearing the improvements.
@@mikeh92467 I had an idea for a similar show. I work as a freelance script doctor if you want an improved screenplay that keeps up the pace and pushes the story forward. Tricks of the trade, and so on.

A crewman is not commisioned therefore would NEVER be called Sir.
0verload of hackneyed dialogue, hope for improvement in strength of future scripts. Lots of potential to tell a better story. No disrespect intended.

Please keep in mind that this is a pilot episode from 16 years ago. The opening credits have evolved with the rest of the show over the years.
Who wrote this! account course has more bite than this.
Doesn't sound very advanced!

I'd be interested in your reaction to way the series evolved over the past 16 years or so.
