What are your thoughts on Sand Land? Does it have the potential to become an action RPG to remember for decades to come? Note: This video was pre-recorded and scheduled for upload 2 days ago before Akira Toriyama's passing. What were the chances of something like this happen? This man was an inspiration to me, he's the main reason why I decided to pick up writing again and push forward with my VenusOrionComics Universe. No matter how much pressure his publisher put pressure on him, he just created amazing characters on the fly and had way to implement them in a story to meet deadlines. You flash forward into the future his creation is loved and recognized by people all over the world and inspired generations. That's the kind of creative I want to be, thank you Toriyama, may you rest in peace!
Dame we lost 3 mangaka’s in Shonen jump, first it was Kazuki Takahashi creator of YuGiOh, Then we lost Buichi Terasawa the creator of space adventure cobra and now we lost Akira Toriyama the creator of dragon ball 😔
God keep n protect this wonderful man's soul he created the best of the best mangas n anime my favourite being City Hunter...I hope a museum is built in honor of Akira Toriyama and the legacy his incredible career are preserved for generations to come.
Sandland looks amazing. I love Toriyama's art style so much. From Chorno Trigger, Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest, and even Blue Dragon. R.I.P to Akira Toriyama.
RIP to the legend. His animations were not only god-tier but were an inspiration to us all. As for Sandland, the game kinda reminds me of Blue Dragon, a franchise also inspired by the Toriyama's work in character designs, art, and world appearance. I might check this out of curiosity. Hope it's a really good game.
Toriyama is almost single handedly my entry to anime as a whole. RIP legend. *conspiracy theory* he's not actually dead, faked it to boost sales for royalties on the game as one last big score before riding off into the sunset.
RIP to an absolute legend of us older guys' childhoods. He left a storied legacy for sure and spread a message of positivity and motivation. Hope the Sand Land game will do well. From what I last heard it's developed by the same studio that did the One Piece Odyssey game and helped with the Dai no Daibouken game are handling this, so hopefully they can do a good job. Seems like an ambitious project and Sand Land isn't exactly the easiest thing to adapt. I wish them well.
Akira Toriyama is the man who introduced me to anime, but strangely enough also my eventual love for JRPGs via Dragon Quest. But most of all, I have him to credit for my love of art, I remember back in the 3rd grade, watching DBZ's Android Saga I attempted to eyeball draw Dr. Gero, and I remembered be so damn proud of myself for that drawing. His death is a shock for everyone. I started playing the fan translation of Dr. Slump for the PS1 in honor of him since it was Dr. Slump that really jump started his career as a manga artist. As for Sand Land, I made it my new years resolution to no longer support AAA games, regardless of who they are and only support Indie and AA devs. However, I do plan to get Sand Land, one because I like the concept of the mech building mechanics as well as vehicle building, but also the biggest reason, to give me respect to the man who inspired me as an artist.
Bless him and his family. He brought joy to millions, he made my childhood all the better even in the primarily shitty times. Thank you for everything Akira Toriyama
Too bad Toriyama has passed away, I mean he really is an inspiration for us all since he brought Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Quest, and other projects to light and really shaped a generation and for that, even though he may have shed his mortal coil, his legacy that he left behind shall be forever immortalized
A hero and a legend long will the legacy of Akira Toriyama's works reside in our memories and generations to come. I hope museums n statues are built the world over in honor of this wonderful man.
I was heartbroken when i first heard the news. I'm BIG Dragon Ball fan since i was 6. I remember back in the days it was playing on my local TV station at 1am cause it had "violence" and blood. My mom didn't allowed me to watch it so i sneaked in the middle of the night every time when a new episode came out. Most of you did that too alongside GTA San Andreas where the game is for 18+ but it was everyone's childhood experience. My only concern is how the future of the franchise will turn out and let's hope they don't make trash animes now that he passed away.
This game did have my attention even before Toriyama's passing. The man united cultures, inspired staples like Naruto & One Piece, he changed the world. RIP Daddy Dragon, you truly made your mark.
RIP the legend. His body may be gone but his spirit and legacy will live forever. He inspired me as well as many other artists and mangaka. Rest easy, Akira Toriyama.
Everytime I see Akira Toriyama’s name as the character designer. I’m always excited, I just love his character design and I hope when they update Chrono Trigger they keep Akiras artistic style and charm.
Well, this sadly explains why Square-Enix's sudden interest in Chrono Trigger, at least imo. They were already aware of Toriyama's passing... Though in fairness, they were probably in talks about it for awhile now.
People had been wanting a game featuring Toriyama's vehicle designs for year,s and it's awesome that it finally happened. Hadn't really paid much attention to this game before, but it definitely looks interesting, so I'll likely check it out at some point.
Toriyama still leaving his mark, and I hope Sand Land will be good. Water being an important resource in a dessert like Sand Land is appropriate. I am also into mechs, so this is nice. 68 is too soon. RIP Akira Toriyama.
Dragonball helped me through an abusive childhood. I literally started crying when I found out Toriyama sensei passed away. The man helped mould so many of our childhoods with strength and values he will forever be a legend. Tell King Kai we said Hey when you see him!
Akira Toriyama was the brainchild of many manga properties since the 80s that're still as beloved as his most popular works such as Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and Bleach, my personal favorites being Bubblegun Crisis, Fist of The North Star, Ashita No Joe, Urasei Yatsura, City Hunter & Trigun were the best of the best of Shonen jump...may God keep n protect this wonderful man's spirit, your incredible work n creations will live on sniff!
I know people may be in Mourning but id like to point out its another Blood clot related deletion.. In case you're not aware that trend started after certain forced skin penetrations...
I can't wait for Sand Land! I've been purposefully avoiding any trailers and the like until... now, I guess, lol? No idea it was part of the DB universe, as I don't partake.
i wanna buy sand land and some older titles like bal maybe even chrono trigger and watch blue dragon, blue dragon and chrono trigger are games i wanted to watch or play for years.
It's not his rpg. He did nothing but make the art for it. We get it, slow news day and the Akira toriyama death grift is real, but do try to just respect the man and let him die in peace without farming him for views. Thanks

Just looking forward to the last works of Toriyama in general & appreciate everything I already have.
To celebrate Akira Toriyama's legacy I'll be playing my classic gba cartridges of Dragon Ball Z Legacy of Goku1&2, Taiketsu and Super Sonic Warriors.

Rest in peace Akira Toriyama. Thanks for giving us DragonBall, Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger. The man set up the standards of shonen anime and JRPGs

This game looks beautiful. RIP Akira Toriyama, thank you for blessing the world with your art and stories.
Very sad knowing that Akira Toriyama passed away recently 😭
RIP Akira, it's even more sad knowing he was dead for days before they announced it
Well, this sadly explains why Square-Enix's sudden interest in Chrono Trigger, at least imo. They were already aware of Toriyama's passing...

We lost a true master.
Hoping for the best regarding Sand Land, hopefully it's a really good game and sells a lot.
I am super excited for this one!
I'm going to buy this game...simply just because it was one of the last projects he worked on before his death.
Man, this looks so good.
i wanna buy sand land and some older titles like bal maybe even chrono trigger and watch blue dragon, blue dragon and chrono trigger are games i wanted to watch or play for years.
kunitsu-gami path of the goddess is another game that looks interesting
I believe Chrono trigger is the perfect game, anyone agree?
It’s also tangentially related to Dragon Ball because Dabura is the Beezelbubs father.
Interesting.
I will definitely going to buy this game to support late Akira Toriyama legacy 😢
RIP to AT
I'm gonna give Sand Land a go
I was already planning on buying it cause it was from Toriyama. I hope it's fun
Looks great and... same release date as Stellar Blade. These wise guys know what they're doing?😂
I don't buy a lot of games but this looks dope
Bro died just to market this game
Looks a bit similar to "Satan 666"!¡i¡!¡i¡!¡i¡!¡i
So is Sand Land still happening?
So Dabura is actually Beelzububs father its Satan in the manga.
It's not his rpg. He did nothing but make the art for it. We get it, slow news day and the Akira toriyama death grift is real, but do try to just respect the man and let him die in peace without farming him for views. Thanks
Akira Toriyama was so inspirational to me, so many memories, i thank him for everything he has done for us. 🙏🏻🥲💔May he rest in peace 🕊️
