This was such a helpful breakdown of the entire RUclips video creation process. The emphasis on research and using tools like RUclips search suggestions, Google Trends, and analytics is such a practical approach for choosing topics that resonate with your audience. I love how you pointed out the balance between trending content and evergreen topics to ensure both immediate traction and long-term growth. The part about planning your video by starting with the title and thumbnail is such a great reminder that these elements are central to catching attention. It really makes you think about whether a video idea is worth pursuing from the very start. The tip about hooks, especially leading with a question or hinting at something intriguing, is pure gold for retaining viewers past those crucial first seconds. Also, the advice on keeping production simple yet professional is super encouraging for smaller creators. Hearing that a smartphone, good lighting, and basic audio gear can still yield quality content takes away the intimidation factor for beginners. Pairing that with the editing techniques you mentioned-like pacing, subtle zooms, and integrating b-roll-shows how even simple edits can create a polished and engaging video. Lastly, your insights about consistency and truly serving your audience by staying within your niche were spot on. The reminder to think of your audience as broader than just subscribers really reframes how creators should evaluate performance. Plus, diving into analytics to refine content strategy is such a smart way to keep improving.
Wow, thanks for sharing Stephen. I’m a big fan of Riverside and have used it as a tool for remote recording of standup interviews. Really appreciate you sharing this master class.
Outstanding video Stephen! Was this video 100% edited on the Riverside app. If not, what other video editing software did you use for edit this video and why did you need it?
Thank you! I edited this video in Final Cut as I recorded the screen share and multiple camera angles all in studio and use multicam clips to put it together. Plus the motion and title effects.
Thanks for the video i can see the "S letter" issue when enhancing the audio as in my recordings too.. maybe this is something that will be solved in the future
@@Riversidefm Been trying to share the same issue before. I thought is maybe my pronunciation. But i can see even in this video. There is indeed an enhanced audio but the cost at the moment if you listen well there seems to be a muffled accent on "s" letters in each words. Not sure if this is what you mean sibilance
