@@heftbullard8273 I actually gave your question considerable thought. I think it was more of a 1-2 punch combo of 9/11 and then smart phones with social media. Every 30 or so years society seems to shed a layer of innocence/naïveté that is only recognized in hindsight. I really believe that social media has dumbed down humanity in ways that will burden future generations.
