India's Closely-Watched General Election Gets Underway

Voters are heading to the polls in India for the start of the country's general election on Friday and runs through June 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is betting on a third term in office but, as Menaka Doshi reports from Chennai, the southern region could prove to be a fierce battleground.

Chennai's election will be fierce, the current Ruling party holds the upper hand in Tamil Nadu but, there are 2 variables the focus will be on. 1. Diverse Religious sentiments. 2.
