Long-time resident of Melbourne, FL and first time visiting your channel. This video is very well done and I can tell you spent a lot of time on it. In the 1950's through 1970's, Titusville had the opportunity to become a global hub of commerce and tourism related to the space industry. Prosperity never came to mainly due to divisiveness, greed and resistance to change. Some say it's better now than it would have been but sometimes I wonder. Peace.
When I saw that part of the video I was in shock I thought maybe it was during the pandemic or something obviously it was a early Sunday morning or something. I was shocked to see that that’s just not the way Titusville is.
I’ve lived in Florida all my life and never went past my jobs headquarters and a few spots like the beach area, the state park Playinda due to work. Very interesting!
Actually NASA is directly across the Indian river, (which I'm very surprised you didn't show) at ksc, Kennedy Space Center cape canaveral, there is a beautiful Pier on the way to Playalinda beach, I could see the river in the background of a couple of your shots, but we do have the best view of launches from our side of the river!
Nice video. You covered a lot of ground, and showed a variety of buildings, shops, museums and property. You also paused to show the actual street names, which makes your videos better than others, so we know where you are. Thank you.
I live in Fort Lauderdale. Drive in our traffic for a while and you’ll welcome the ghost town. Born and raised here my entire life and can no longer take the over population that has occurred. Looking for a less populated homestead somewhere in Florida.
@@onionhead5780 Same here! I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, and the traffic can be a nightmare. The city lights can be overwhelming too. Titusville feels a bit dull, with limited activities to enjoy. I visit family there regularly, but for more things to do, you’ll need to make the short trip to Orlando.
I remember when people chose Titusville for its affordability, as it was the most budget-friendly town in Brevard. I didn’t expect it to surpass Palm Bay in cost of living.
