I'm a Philly sports pessimist by nature, and I would have expected to be feeling less and less confident in a Super Bowl performance as the game draws nearer. This time, however, I'm feeling more and more confident. Does anyone else have that same feeling?
I'm so tired of the old heads that won't shut up about the 64' Phillies
This team is built to win and should have already but were robbed
The revenge tour feels live🙏🦅
I feel good about this game. We don't make mistakes and we win. Simple.
I definitely feel more confident and calmer and have been saying all season we are going to get our revenge on KC
I have feel the same but this feels like a dangerous feeling 😂
Roob said the thing that always soured me on Andy Reid, the underutilization of Westbrook for so many of those years. He was elite!
We love the daily podcast during Super Bowl week 💚🦅
Cam Jurgens reaching a Pro Bowl after Kelce retired is an amazing story, too👌🦅
I think Slay gives his number 1 spot to Q and tells the office IR deserves number 2. He’s been a baller starting cold all year. What an incredible season🦅 I think Vic coaches 3-5 more seasons before retiring here in Philly
Wouldn't be a podcast without Matt Patricia catching a stray 😄
Stoutland actually said yesterday, it was Nick that approached him in OTA's to try becton at guard
Is there such a thing as too much Reub and Dave??
Heck nahh.. loving the daily pods fella's. Keep em coming.
Philly Strong 💪😎🦅🏆
Stoutland as both offensive line coach & run game coordinator getting the most of not just Saquon but also Gainwell & Shipley & transitioning from future HOFer Kelce to Jurgens & Bechton, while having shaped Jordan, Landon & Lane into arguably the top 3 at each of their positions league wide. Incredible story. The line coach has had more play than the run game coordinator angle.
Baun, Becton, Barkley = Killer Bs
The story about Becton at 12:26 and Stoutland reminds of when they drafted Mailatta, Stout was the second one on the phone talking to him.
Roob just called Evan engrim forgettable i love it lol
"That made me feel uncomfortable 🙂↕️" Dave LOL
12:09
That was hilarious
Thank you Dave and Roob for the Daily podcast during Super Bowl week it’s really helping fill time until the big game
Im hoping we can have daily pods all the time!
Favorite Andy Reid quote. "There will be no running the football."😂
The Burke comments goes back to coaching 💯
Great Pod guys
Loved the story line angles on this cast. Great show.
Roob. It’s either “make bank” or “secure the bag.”
“Make bag” was a good effort though haha
I'm Leo from Norristown. Thanks for answering my question!
Daily Pods STRAIGHT INTO MY VEINS!!!!
Not so much you two guys. But Sirianni has handled the Philly and National Media Beautifully! Probably shouldn't be yelling at fans but who knows what they said to him or what he thought he heard. He's handled the bullshit perfectly.
@@suxix7312 It came out after (from the fan himself) that the fan was in the front row yelling to Nick “run the ball!” To which Nick responded “we will!” Then after the game, Nick found the same fan and yelled “Didn’t I tell you we would run it?!” And a few other things. But neither Nick nor the fan in question were angry or anything.
The fan himself called into WIP, and was able to prove it was him- also a friend he was with called in and confirmed the whole story.
This was covered briefly in the local sports news, but National media never mentioned it at all.
@@christophermanley3602Wait…you mean the national media ignores the facts and perpetuates a tired narrative that denigrates Philly in some way? Nah…never would happen.
@christophermanley3602 probably why I didn't know! I did hear the fan called into local Radio and that was it! Thankyou for all the added information! Fly Eagles Fly!!!!!
“Gotta water them flowers” Nick Siriani
I’m just sharing my process 😂😂😂😂 oh man everytime you go off topic Dave gives you that look 😂😂😂😂
Go to Drago’s for some flame broiled clams. So so good. Fly Eagles Fly!!!
Daily pods!!!!!! 🎉🎉
"That made me feel uncomfortable " lmao
I appreciate the daily pods, but I think you need to step it up and do two a day
Back in the day we used to do three a day pods in pads
How many Zach Bauns are there out there sitting on the bench in the NFL??? League doing poor job assessing talent and developing players!!!! Reporters trust experts too much!!!
Underrated comment
It's pro sports in general. You get a limited chance and limited time to develop. Baun also benefited from a roster with a depleted LB position.
Mentally prepared for this game EXCEPT for the Jake Elliot worry. How many points will he leave on the field and possibly cost us a super bowl.
don’t remember them answering that question before 42 min mark
When Philly won against Cleveland I had a good feeling this years team was special.
@@thethaiatom gosh, that Cleveland win had me doubting, cause they barely beat a miserable Browns team. But I’m glad they’ve improved since then.
@ they won that game as a team.
@@thethaiatom truth
For Garrett, a 1st, a 5th and Huff.
Will take WAY more than that.
I’d love to re-sign Rodgers. My favorite moment was his tip ball pick to CJ. It was the perfect Volleyball set.
Can they include Huff in a trade for Garrett ?
We got this, I'm certain of it. I'm SB52 certain. When Wentz went down I started planning the party and my trip to Philly for the parade. I'm that certain
Package up for Abdul Carter instead of Garrett
It would cost WAY too much. Using the Walter chart, the first pick is 3000 points. The 32 pick (yes, we are winning the SB) is worth 590 points. If you predict the Eagles are in high 20’s for next 3-4 years, their pick will likely be worth 600-700 points each year. In other words, they’d have to give up 4+ first round picks to make that worthwhile to the Titans. Never gonna happen.
David and 2 sammies . ❤
2:30 Feeling pretty safe? Was that 7 cops?
Giving Howie and coaches WAY to much credit for Zach Braun. 50% dumb luck
Burks is like Gainwell, they'll probably get too much money to go somewhere else and no guaranteed playing time with a rookie behind them to fill their spot.
Getting Miles Garrett would be a Coup...............we have Barkley jumping over the defense Backwards.... we have Miles Garrett JUMPING ( on sides ) over our entire FG team this yr for the block... its a no brainer to go get em.
Disagree on the run game though. What invariably happens in this league is that some trend develops, largely because of one or two team’s success. And at some point, there is an over-correction. In this case, bc of the offensive shift to a passing game, teams loaded up on smaller, faster pass rushers. This has made them more susceptible to the run. The Eagles have built the largest, beefiest o-line in the league. But the players are not just big - they’re fast. This is why they’ve had so much success. My guess is teams will start trying to counterbalance this and will skew to bigger lineman.
I see Garret going to Washington.
Don’t even say that…
They might hold us to 45 with Garret instead of 55
DAILY PODSSSS.
If I was a Philly media member I'd be a little irritated with Jalen, dealing with his sullen act everyday and then gets in front of the national media at the Superbowl and acts cheerful, receptive and outgoing. The same applies to AJ but to a lesser extent, he just seems moody, not consistently uncooperative.
Bro who fuckin cares?
I Don’t care about what they say but for me.
(ITS TIME FOR REVENGE BABY
Guys, I disagree when you say this is a once and a lifetime running back and team for us to be a run dominant run first offense as the blueprint to win a SuperBowl. We were #3 in Rushing in 2017, #1 in Rushing in 2022, and #2 in Rushing this year…thats why the play calling was so unbearable last year…didn’t commit to the run once since week 3 or 4 when Swift went offf and even when AJ got hurt before the Tampa game BJ still thought the play action would work without establishing the run….my point is Jalen Hurts + Best Oline in football= Perennial Top 5 Rushing offense but Jalen Hurts + Best Oline + Saquon Barkley= potentially the most dynamic rushing offense in the HISTORY OF FOOTBALL…This is the blueprint…you control and dictate tempo of the game and keep offenses off the field…things that would of helped our defense last year and we are happy Kellen Moore is a coordinator who actually listens to the fans when we say RUN THE DAMN BALL!
Agree with your general point - the run game has to be the lead strategy. But Saquon >>>> Sanders. The reality is that Miles really faded in the last 4 games of the regular season and playoffs. Yes, some of that was the play calling. But chickens and eggs - I think his drop-off was factored into the game strategy. I also think the combination of Sanders fade and Christian McAffree’s success is what drove SB signing.
Trade bryce huff and a 1st rounder for myles. I'd call Cleveland at that ask to see if it's worth it. Let Cleveland try to develop huff. They get a defensive end in return, we get to get rid of a contract mistake. The only problem I have with going after someone like myles is the money we'd pay him is going to prevent us from signing a few of the PIVOTAL free agents we're set to lose this year like baun, bechton, and lavato
Dude this is a classic “here’s our trash for your best player” fantasy trade scenario.
Rob was so cringe last episode, hope he has had less absinthe today
*Roob
Rub the fact that you don't understand why players, coaches, refs and everyone involved shouldn't be able to bet drives me a little insane. What are your thoughts on insider trading because this is significantly less controversial in my opinion. The people involved can potentially have direct control over outcomes and it would instantly and totally destroy the league and all credibility the league had. If i was Dotson I would max out every site that exists and take my under and if one ball happens to come my way I ain't catchin that damn thing. That is one silly, easy example and now imagine every single person involved doing it. What don't you understand rub? lol.
If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you...prevent inflation
Thanks for the info. I'll reach out to him immediately
Wtf bots and scammers are evolving

Garrett openly defended the terrible human that is Deshaun Watson, keep him as far away from the eagles as possible. Dont need bad juju like that in the locker room
