basant vimal sharma No it isn't. These films are available around the world. Islam and the globalists funding wars and shit are the reason everywhere (not just America) is violent. As well as cultureless leftists like Antifa scum, as per the globalist agenda trying to break down western society. Movies are fuck all to do with it. And before you say it, disarming the civilian population wouldn't do shit. I'm British and London's murder rate topped Chicago last year.
@I'm Still Alive Juicing is not enough. You also have to workout a lot. Conerry was not much focused on weightlifting. Look at Daniel Craig. He is a much more muscular Bond than Conerry was.
This is, hands-down, Michael Bay's finest directorial moment. he was still young, & he had to prove himself--that's why he was still good. -----and Michael Biehn was just awesome. His " Listen up " speech is so amazing! -----------Wolfsky9
This is one of my favorite movies ever, remember seeing it as a child, it was the first movie where I payed full attention to acting, productions, sound engineering. I remembered caring so much about how this movie was made that I watch it a dozen times where I know each line! There were no directors cuts back then. I cried during the shower scene, the back and forth between Ed Harris had so much conviction, in fact everyone just gave it their all and every scene just works.
This movie, the cinematography, the dialogue changed me as a filmmaker. Whoo! I fell in love with it and must have watched it at least 20 times. I also loved "Face Off", starring Nick Cage and John Travolta. Wow.
"I miss you so much. But there's something I've gotta do, Barb. Something I couldn't do while you were here. I tried. You know I tried everything and I still don't have their attention. Let's hope this elevates their thinking. But whatever happens, please don't think less of me."
This movie starts with the "villain", by portraying him as an honorable man. So refreshing. It's from 1996, and I saw it in the theater, but compared to nowadays action movies, protagonists and villains, yeah, quite refreshing.
late 90's were the stellar years if Nicolas Cage. Last week I watched Con Air, Face Off and The Rock. 25 years later I realised that movies of 90s are the best for me. Nostaliga hits so hard that makes me shed tears...
SaketG Angel on Bay's right shoulder: "You should make another serious, well-shot, well-written action movie, Michael! Stay the course!" Devil on Bay's left shoulder: "Or...CGI! Explosions! Shia LaBoeuf!"
He is always serious, he just targets his movies to other audiences. Guy makes billions and he's proved that he can make a good movie if he wants to. He simply went from being a movie director to a movie manager. You give him 200mil and get 800 in return, simple business.
One of the best action films ever made. Just brilliant. One of my all time favourites. And Hans Zimmer at his finest with the soundtrack…👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 ‘I GOT GREEN SMOKE I GOT GREEN SMOKE….’ ‘CQ 1 CQ1….’
they took the shower scene from the Rock in MW2 where you rescue price in the gulag and also the white house green flare concept was taken from this too
I have to admit, I saw this movie at the theater on mushrooms. The great thing about it was that this movie kind of slipped under the radar. Most of the movie hype at the time was on Will Smith and the move Independence Day. Me and some friends had some shrooms and we needed something to do so we went to see The Rock. This movie experience was far and away the best one I've ever had. The stuff I was on wasn't over bearing like other hallucinogens. But it was enough to give a very very intense and vibrant movie experience. I remember hitting my peak during the scene where they green light the Seals. And Capt Anderson is talking "Make no mistake gentlemen, we're in the fight of our lives against maybe the greatest battalion commander in the Vietnam war, I shit you not!!" Holy shit my Adrenalin was pumping big time. This movie took me by such surprise.
@@Tigerman1138 Thats one thing that makes this a great movie. Even as a very young kid, I thought he did the right thing. A good movie makes the villian human, and shows there are more then just one side to things
Upon seeing this movie for the first time, being 7 I had no idea that Connery played James Bond. Eerie how his character here mirrors that of bond, but caught.
you didn't show a lot of the coolest scenes, like the car chase, underwater scene, or that scene in the mining place or whatever it was, but at least you got the shower scene and the pistol shootout between the marines. very underrated action movie, maybe the best one of the 90s
I'd say the entire movie is one huge best scene.
I think 8:11 - 10:03 is _the_ best scene of the whole movie.

Hard to believe Michael Bay directed this classic. I guess he shot his talent-load with The Rock.

Exactamente
One of my favorite movies ever. Just a classic from the 90s.
Ed Harris is awesome in this movie !
...
+Thomas C Absolutely his best performance ever imo.
+zamardii12 Agree
Gen Hummel is often in movie lists with "villains" you can agree with and I was with him from the start.
His best perform was General Hummel.
One of the greatest action films of all time! Everyone on the top of their game.
Don’t forget the 9:34 music so powerfully emotional
Sean Connery was in his mid 60s in this movie and still kicks ass!
Yes. But Sly Stallone is 73 and he still would kick a young Conerry`s ass.
@I'm Still Alive Juicing is not enough. You also have to workout a lot. Conerry was not much focused on weightlifting. Look at Daniel Craig. He is a much more muscular Bond than Conerry was.
@@suttercaine1987 yea stallone is like 5’8. if connery bothered to spend any time in the gym it would not have been a fair fight at all
The name's Bond... James Bond!

What a fucking awesome movie this is, the acting, the soundtrack (holy fuck) the plot, the action, omfg.

@Don Juan and...........................................i love you
Michael Biehn and Ed Harris really made the shower scene lit
As fun as Cage and Connery are to watch in this movie, those two are the real cast standouts to me.
@Don Juan thats another kind of movie!

Damn amazing start for a movie. Especially with that song and those shots....

Thanks to David Morse too.. Brilliant performance

One of the reasons why I love Ed Harris, plays such a badass military member
The best Movie in my Life ever.
@Logan Stroganoff fck you man
Honestly many my favorite movie literally
Jesus , this movie is so epic, i still get goosebumps watching it
The whole movie is like one best scene
This movie has the best cast ever
After all these years i just realize he was left his medal of honor..a symbolisation for what he would do next is something unhonorable
2:36 I don't care what ANYONE says about this movie... THIS is THE MOST powerful scene EVER... Makes me cry every time! :(
you call it what you want
@The Tree it's not mutiny, it's treason.
I think the scene where Hummel gets the rockets was one of the greatest scenes ever!
Just listen to the music, hans zimmer is GOAT
One of my all-time fav movies, was one of the reason that made me want to eventually go take a tour at Alcatraz myself
When the names Nicolas Cage and Michael Bay meant quality in a movie.
He did well in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Probably Nicks finest moment

Dutchie NL yeah, the script is excellent, very intelligent..
Best movie ever, thanks for uploading.
"You mean this side-arm??" Fucking badass!!!!
the president's speech, although short, but very powerful
Back when being a president wasn't just a show.
The Rock is the movie that show us that Michael Bay CAN make a good movie but he is to lazy to do it
The Rock was made before he adapted his formula of explosions+shock humor= movie. He made a couple good movies before the 2000's.
this was micheal bay?
Nizz 0matic yes
Nizz 0matic he made some few movie like
Bad Boys
The Rock
The First Transformers
13 Hours
Kenneth The Wizard
i only knew he made transformers. he made bad boys?
Back when Michael Bay was still "serious" about movie-making
SaketG Angel on Bay's right shoulder: "You should make another serious, well-shot, well-written action movie, Michael! Stay the course!"
