I still use Secura Dual Cestra with a riven on Hyldrin and there is no better weapon for her, I get a refresh to my shield if I hold it while I use my 3 and 4 abilities in tandum and when I am not using my abilities, it shreds even in arbitration when its not the chosen weapon. Edit: My Synoid Gammacor (also with a riven) is even more powerful and deletes enemies in literal nano seconds, all my other frames use this as a secondary for constant energy refills
For a while the Vaykor Marelok was my favorite gun in the game, it was the first gun I fully modded and it served well throughout the entirety of the main starchart
Was my main pistol before the Laetum came by. That weapon gives me the same satisfaction, but is amazing in terms of damage even without being fully upped.
Hydron? It was always Akkad and Draco for me, as Hydron has higher level enemies but roughly the same affinity gain in the other nodes and you could stay there longer on frames you were leveling. It only became worth to go to hydron if you were using a frame that could screen clear without weapons like Ember or Banshee who were already levelled. I still go to Hydron every now and again, but now my Mag basically kills enemies as they spawn its so funny.
Honestly, the Sancti Magistar is still my favourite Melee weapon. I loved the healing years ago and still do. One thing that is noteworthy, it can heal objectives. Not all at once but it procs Regen on it for a short time. There isn’t much that can actually heal objectives.
@@conservativestrawman9837 Yep. It can also heal sentinels if for some reason there’s no health Regen on it. I have a Riven for mine that takes the Crit up to 191% with automatic red crits on ANY heavy attack and some initial combo with more damage.
I'm finding it difficult buying the syndicate weapons from players that I don't have. Either everyone's in the wrong syndicate or nobody online is selling em. On PS4 btw, so options are limited unfortunately.

I use the castanas as a stealth weapon cause even if someone literally sees the thing explode and their ally die they act like they didn't see it at all
i bought the sancti castanas for 20p because i always loved using the castanas. it's just so fun to use; throwing them onto my teammates and sending them straight into the enemy is so awesome to see.
Sancti Castanas we’re actually a go-to secondary for me for a long time. They’re handicapped by lacking slash price, but the forced status proc and riven disposition made them hit pretty hard; especially if you manually detonate over enemy heads instead of allowing them to land. Also, the lateral multishot pattern is fantastic for deleting entire rooms, even at relatively high levels, but only with a riven. The massive AoE also makes it one of the best Spore spreaders in the game.
Secura Lecta is heavily nerfed compared to what it use to be, it used to give massive amounts of credits. So I won't expect any buffs there anytime soon. Also, according to wiki, regular Dark Dagger gives movement speed buff, Rakta version loses on this.
its worth mention for synoid heliocor, the main damage is impact so it benefits from shattering impact and its a hammer which means you already have a good fast stance for stripping armor with heavy attacks.
@@macobus6743 the amount of a damage stat effect IPS priority. So being Impact heavy means more procs also the hammers have on of the best multi-hit spin combos. So it vary much does matter, plus synoid heliocor has a bonus initial combo one of only 2 melee with such a distinction the other being fragor prime which is one of the harder to get old gen prime melee. So synoid heliocor doubles as a budget heavy attack hammer. Check mate.

I remember the Secura lecta was a thing to earn 2m cred under 30 waves of infested defence with a booster tileset and a credit booster. Four squad of people only bringing it and whip the credits off the infested booty. It was so good that the nef anyo index was not relevant anymore.
Just a note, and this is probably outdated at this point, but I use sancti castanas with a navigator ivara built to take down eidolons. It's pretty fun cause once they are set up you just pop the shields and press a button to blow a limb up.
I use synoid heliocor. As a heavy attack build. I use the status chance to get almost 150% status so if I'm lucky I can just 1 shot very beefy mods of any faction. And cause I have mild crit I put in berserker and kill herds of enemies without problem with or without heavy attacks
i mainly want these weapons for fasion frame im going for like syndicate themed loadouts and using warframes that have similarity to syndicate, for example: making ash into red veil cause edgy bois
SDC can be useful due to not wasting that much ammo, but the overall damage output is rather limited. If you like rapid fire laser guns, give the Athodai a shot.

i dont know if the s lecta's formula changed but it used to scale with MR and was something like 3x base and 0.5 per rank? something like that, really dont remember, anyway it was capable of 1 million credits in half an hour on akkad back in its hayday, so *shrug*
The lack of slash on the teloce boltace isn't actually that bad, seeing how it has access to sovereign outcast, as well as tonfas having forced slash on heavy attacks. It also groups enemies remarkably well, so it's good for frames that don't have any grouping ability, and benefit from gas damage (hint hint wink wink lavos)
From your combat footage, it looks like you need to double your DPI and half your sensitivity. It will let you aim between your current arcs, but feel like the same speed. Letting you do more precise shots. And make your footage smoother. Or you can go further and triple or quadruple DPI with inverse sensitivity. (If youre still running these settings.)
That's not the bow doing it, that's Ivara's ability "Navigator". Works with almost any projectile, including arrows, thrown weapons, even the semi-auto shot from the Fulmin or Fluctus.
Never taken into a mission, nor had any upgrades like an orokin catalyst. If you have done anything to it other than put mods on it, then the weapon cannot be traded.
Vaykor Sydon is a monster with a Crit riven in part because it's a swift Polearm with high status that triggers the Aura Growing Power all the time... I'm MR L2, this is my main melee. Range, speed, comfort, high status and a Crit riven = No fuss & no fidling. Just destroys and Power trigger. Saryn's main jam.

They did heavily buff the Synoid Heliocor and it is now a worthwhile weapon to use.
Love that secura lecta was the credit farming meta on release, as it gave about 12x credits on kill, which was quite quickly nerfed
