How many players can say that they beat Rafa, Roger and Novak the very first time they played against each of them?
It's insane how talented he is, which makes it so sad that he hasn't evolved at all, his physical and technical discipline seems virtually non existent.
Probably could've been winning slamS if he had the work ethic of someone like Thiem, for example. That serve with even more work would a huge problem for his opponents, the FH and BH need more work to be more reliable, and the net work could use a lot of work, on top of some basic tactics that serve as framework for his game.
All of this could've been achieved in his early 20s and he'd already be incredibly hard to beat, but oh well.

cute world Well it could be 4-3 for Federer if he had lost the tiebreakers. And keep in mind that was 2015 Cincinnati Federer and 2017 Miami Federer, which is still like the highest level Roger we’ve seen in the past eight years. Kyrgios has arguably done better than Nadal against Federer since the latter became the Neo Federer we know today.
I’m not saying Federer isn’t the GOAT, I’m just pointing out the fact that Kyrgios is contestably as monstrously talented as he is, or at the very least has perfect capacity to be. At the end of the day, of course I would still rather that Federer wins those matches.

Why not include Murray? He suffered against Murray the most and only could capture one lucky win from the injured version of him. Murray can return Kyrgios's serve much better than other Big 3. Even one big 3 did not get single win from Kyrgios. The return makes a big diffference!

    • @arturo435
      @arturo435 4 года назад +2

The problem is that Murray is almost excruciatingly patient, which makes him the ideal rival against someone with no patience or mental stability.
Roger, Rafa and Nole are way more prone to take the initiative, which was always Murray's biggest problem against Big 3 btw, and Nick loves to respond to that and feeds off of open rallies and big shots. With Murray, he faces one who is perfectly okay with waiting and has a lot of resources to stay grounded and expose all of Nick's shortcomings.

@@arturo435 I agree with that. And that is the reason he struggles against Nishikori and Gasquet as well. Slowing down the tempo can be the key to beat Kyrgios. Then, Bernard Tomic will also fall into this category. He will make Kyrgios suffer a lot and maybe Zverev as well.

As i said it's still 2-0 cuz a victory is a victory but i'd like to see Djokovic facing Nick when he feel great.
I know that i would have defend Nadal and Federer the same way and i did it in the past.
Federer-Monfils 2014, Federer was injured by his back, it doesn't mean Monfils doesn't deserve the victory + he played an amazing match, but Federer was injured ( and i'm french ).
Nadal Wawrinka 2014 Ao, Nadal was injured at the middle of the 2nd sets but i don't think he would have won the match if he was fit though cuz Wawrinka's level was awesome.
Nick is 2-0 against Djokovic as Davydenko is 6-5 against Nadal or Dustin Brown is 2-0 there's no shame there or anything else.
But it's a mistake to think Djokovic was in shape after Uso 2016 until RG 2018. That's all.
I'm not gonna jump in occasion to be mean against another player, and the fact that you act like that make me feel like you're especially this kind of person that would jump on every occasions for not being on the side of Djokovic, but i hope i'm wrong.

Dustin Brlwn is 2-0 against Nadal but twice on Grass, let them play on clay and good bye Dustin probably lol.
Thiem is a really great player, especially on Clay. He is powerful and is very concentrate and agressive when he plays against the Big 3. This 5-2 against Federer is great ofc, but Thiem is 12 years younger than Federer, Federer is still great and in 2017 he was playing one of the best tennis of his career obviously. Still, 5-2 is great from Thiem but there are not enough matches played by both to take care of this stat in this "non rivalry".
Thiem is sure doing well against Big 3 but i'd like to say "Finally . . Someone is able a bit to push the Big 3 harder than the rest". Obviously the fact the Big3 is still leading the tennis World show how they're literally from another planet.
Roddick Nalbandian were born in 1982, Safin in 1980. Coria in 1982 (i think).
Where are they now ? Papy Roger born in 1981 and still was one point away of getting a Wimbledon last year. That's why 5-2 is meaningless to me, Federer struggles yeah, but how many guys from new generation did he beat ? All of them ehe ;)

@Gowri Shankar U.V He struggles against big servers, that's why he lost two slam finals to Wawrinka. Even double faulting Zverev is a problem for him.

Taking tennis seriously is tough for a covert narc. They need a way to cope with defeat and that's by saying "well i dont really care or i dont try that hard therefore I'm better than my opponents".

Take away his "lucky" win against Nadal way back in 2014.... He can ONLY beat the 3 oldies in a quick best of 3 match...Never got a win in best of 5 sets after 2014.....

This clown did show his talent in his early years. He won some games while the bigs were not in the condition. Did he make his game like other young gangs did? No, he became, I'm sorry, a loser. Ranked after 40 and he seems still so enjoyed in his early age winnings. What a pathetic figure. 😒

Federico Scola Honestly, Kyrgios treats the Laver Cup more seriously than he treats most of his Grand Slam matches. He cried when he lost to Fed in 2017. I’d argue those wins for Fed count.
