Miami ‘17 vs Federer & Acapulco ‘19 vs Nadal were the best matches between them. Plus Laver Cup ‘19 vs Federer as the bonus. I bet Djokovic hates the fact he’s got a losing H2H against him.
In my opinion Kyrgios is the most talented player to ever live. If he had a mindset similar to Rafa, he would have 30+ grandslams by the end of his career
Taking on the big three is an allmighty task that propably only time can handle. Many of the young guys got wins early, but the mire you play the big three, the better they ll pick your game apart
Kyrgios surprisingly won a good number...then again, seems like the kind of guy who plays to the level of his opponent so he gives it his all vs the Big 3. He's wasting his talent..
he only played the old Big3, only two times vs Nadal on clay. Only played Djoko in the worst year of his career (2017). The sample size of those h2h number is simply way too low to be called meaningful.
@@arvidl5666 Yeah maybe old Big 3, but you can't just dismiss the fact he beat Djokovic both times and then is 3-5 against Rafa. You could definitely say head to heads are overrated generally (rivalries are just fun for the fans) because so much of it is just the match up/style of play. So obviously h2h doesn't determine the better player, but you can't just dismiss it. Nick obviously very talented
@@arvidl5666 Sounds like you just making excuses for Djokovic losing...so is Roddick better than Djokovic because the 6-4 head to head advantage? It obviously doesn't tell you the better player even with a larger sample size. But keep downplaying Kyrgios getting wins on them
if Kyrgios played seriously every time he would be a Top ten by now too bad when he faces big Three he always performs in a high level and in other matches he loses against insignificant players. He has so much potential
How many players can say that they beat Rafa, Roger and Novak the very first time they played against each of them? It's insane how talented he is, which makes it so sad that he hasn't evolved at all, his physical and technical discipline seems virtually non existent. Probably could've been winning slamS if he had the work ethic of someone like Thiem, for example. That serve with even more work would a huge problem for his opponents, the FH and BH need more work to be more reliable, and the net work could use a lot of work, on top of some basic tactics that serve as framework for his game. All of this could've been achieved in his early 20s and he'd already be incredibly hard to beat, but oh well.
Unpopular opinion. If Kyrgios actually tried. Actually trained. Actually had a really good coach and mental coach. He would be world number 1. He is the next gen. when Sampras Agassi rules Fed came along. To stop him Nadal came along then Djokovic. He was supposed to stop them. Now 3 way past 30’s veterans still dominate the game
Incredible. This guy beat Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, the three greatest players of all time, each on his first try. And he's been just a few points away from having a winning record overall against them. If a couple tiebreakers had gone slightly differently, then he would have a leading head-to-head against ALL of them.
The AViator, it's true when you see the H2H of Kyrgios-Djokovic(2-0) and maybe even Nadal-Kyrgios(5-3) but not against Federer. Federer-Kyrgios(6-1) is completely out of Kyrgios's league. Federer is the real GOAT
cute world Well it could be 4-3 for Federer if he had lost the tiebreakers. And keep in mind that was 2015 Cincinnati Federer and 2017 Miami Federer, which is still like the highest level Roger we’ve seen in the past eight years. Kyrgios has arguably done better than Nadal against Federer since the latter became the Neo Federer we know today. I’m not saying Federer isn’t the GOAT, I’m just pointing out the fact that Kyrgios is contestably as monstrously talented as he is, or at the very least has perfect capacity to be. At the end of the day, of course I would still rather that Federer wins those matches.

Federer dominance! It is hard watching players with great tools struggle with problematic personal issues!? Federer has a more powerful backhand and forehand than these other 3...one bad, he has blown big points in big games....
Sadly this man has never taken his tennis career seriously....he was a big grand slam prospect....but age will catch him up soon...by now he should have won at least 3 to 4 slams...his attitude is the real problem hope he will mature before he reaches 30...
Super interesting vid, it seems that initially they struggled to figure out how to beat him then as time went on they managed to work out his flaws and exploited them
I've said it before, I'm going to say it again. Talent wise Nick is the greatest. Thing is he doesn't want to win for himself. Put him on a team, like Laver cup and he'll play his heart out.
Why not include Murray? He suffered against Murray the most and only could capture one lucky win from the injured version of him. Murray can return Kyrgios's serve much better than other Big 3. Even one big 3 did not get single win from Kyrgios. The return makes a big diffference!
The problem is that Murray is almost excruciatingly patient, which makes him the ideal rival against someone with no patience or mental stability. Roger, Rafa and Nole are way more prone to take the initiative, which was always Murray's biggest problem against Big 3 btw, and Nick loves to respond to that and feeds off of open rallies and big shots. With Murray, he faces one who is perfectly okay with waiting and has a lot of resources to stay grounded and expose all of Nick's shortcomings.
@@arturo435 I agree with that. And that is the reason he struggles against Nishikori and Gasquet as well. Slowing down the tempo can be the key to beat Kyrgios. Then, Bernard Tomic will also fall into this category. He will make Kyrgios suffer a lot and maybe Zverev as well.
@@kucingmeowcanteq7994 No, I meant Tomic can be a threat for both Zverev and Kyrgios. Multi-facet players can make them suffer than big 3. Fast-paced players often find it hard to adjust slow-paced players.

This is about Kyrgios...But since you mention Federer, can't be best of all time when he has such a poor H2H record against both Nadal & Djokovic, esp. in slam matches
