Lyrics:
Wait a little longer, please, Jesus
There’s so many still a-wandering out in sin
Just a little longer, please, Jesus
Just a few more days tolet our loved ones in.
Here the labour is so hard and the workers are so tired
And our weary hearts are longing for a rest
And we find we’re getting anxious to be in that happy land
Where we’ll enjoy some peace and happiness.
But wait a little longer, please, Jesus
There’s so many still a-wandering out in sin
Just a little longer, please, Jesus
Just a few more days tolet our loved ones in.
Kay this is your second cousin, Jonene. My mother was Wanda(Lou)Adams. I had never heard you sing before but my gosh, your voice is incredible ! I still treasure the photo of you and I at my grandmother's, Doris Marie, house in Vernon, Texas circa, 1980 or 81. Hopefully one day we will meet again. Wouldn't that be so wonderful !!! 🌺🌻🌹🏵💐🌸🦋
Buck Owens and Don Rich, I Loved Them, I Think I Had A Crush On Handsome Don Rich, Don't Tell My Husband, Lol.
Don Rich was very competent doing duets with Buck. Great loss for country music.
This is so beautiful. Yes, she does sound like Loretta Lynn, or did Loretta sound like her?
The song was too short. Uhmm.
Don Rich’s squeeze, after she rejected Buck!
