The boss dd-7 is a monster! When you turned it on, instant dreaminess with digital delay. That line output surprised me! I wasn’t expecting such a clean sound.
@@TheSpaceGuitar You have a serious great collection of amps. My actual amps: 2 JC 22, 2 JC 40, 1 Vox AC15c1, 2 Vox AC10, 2 Pathfinders 10, 1 Pathfinder 15.
Sounds good, just purchased a JC-22 recently, very cool amp. Have an old 120, sounds great, weighs a ton, love being able to get that JC sounds in such a compact design.
How are the bass notes on the JC-22? I'm thinking of purchasing one, albeit I'm a bit worried the tone isn't going to be all there. I'm not concerned about it being solid-state, quite the opposite, it would be a nice change. For reference, speaker-wise, I have a Vox AC-15 with a single 12-inch speaker.
What a great experience to hear it in stereo with this beautiful music! Last weekend I tried a JC-22 and fell in love, absolutely pristine clean tones in such small form. I hope the shop doesn't sell it, I'll get it in Ottobre 😉
My first JC was the 40. B-stock from Thomann. Then I got 2 JC22 for a full stereo experience. One was enough. I really love the little one, my go-to amp for everything.
Hello, does the chorus effect on the JC22 come before the effects loop or after? i.e. if I plug in pedals in the effects loop, will the built-in chorus come before it or after? Thanks!
Well done and thank you for your video. I allow myself a question: Can I plug a stereo multi-effects into my JC-120H with 1 high input and 1 low input?
Yes you can but why you would? You can both choose low inputs because they both offer plenty of volume, you can choose to hook up everything by the efx loop or with the 4 (5) cable method. In any case it will always sound great. Please subscribe to my RUclips channel if you haven’t already, mate.
I'm getting one of these little darlings this week ( assuming if it's still unsold), great little amps! It should suit my needs well: church amp! perfect for use on stage as your monitor and out to the board as well. It would be nice if Roland would one day add a XLR out... I'm looking forward to using it with my Kustum "Flail Caster" ( Tons n tons of tone: 26 different settings). Fun, Fun, Fun.PTL.
The stereo line out is fine to connect to a PI just use a jack to xlr cable. Have fun with it, my only concern is that for live situations the 40 is the better choice
Looking to learn guitar and buy an amp at some point. Would this one be too loud for an apartment? I am a little confused about the independence of watts and volume. Can this be played at low volume?
This is super perfect at home, even at night, please check my other videos about JC22 and low volume at home. Buy it with confidence. And please subscribe!
@@alexmurphy5289 Thank you but I have just bought the Roland Micro cube, second hand. This years was supposed to be when I start to learn guitar but it has been a flop.
Great demo, thanks. Good to finally hear the quality of the amp stereo line out - if you use line out to record does it defeat the speakers, ie, could you use this for 'silent recording' into your DAW for late-night recording?
Yes, it's the iRig Studio I was using to film recording the audio directly into the Smartphone...I've changed setup right now and everything seems fine. (I record audio with Logic and then mix it with the video)

@@TheSpaceGuitar I really like the sound of your song. Il look forward to hearing it soon I hope. 🤞 I have now setup my JC 22. I was very shocked when I discovered how quiet the amp is even on full volume. I have a Marshall DSL5 CW which is a 5 watt tube amplifier and the marshall is louder. However, I have to say it has some of the nicest and cleanest tones I have heard. I am just using a couple of pedals this evening which are BOSS Sd-1, BOSS RV-5 and BOSS RC-1. And the Jazz chorus takes them very, very well indeed. I am very impressed by the tones from a solid state amplifier.
Hi Eddie, I use stereo inputs with stereo pedals. It's not better that the FX loop, it's just different, for example I love the sound of a stereo reverb in the front of an amp and I love to have the option to do this. I also run a boss ce2w in the front and a DC2w in the loop. It's fun. Please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already done it.

@@jeffreybiscoe6 yes, you need stereo stuff to get the most out of your amp. The 22 will do just stereo chorus by itself. You can also benefit from the stereo effect loop. @@TheSpaceGuitar One more Question. I own a Roland Blues Cube Hot rated at 30 watts with 12" Speaker. I can gig with that amp because I'm always mic'd but I'm a little on the fence about this amp because of the small speakers. What is your opinion on this. Thanks
montiac22 no, in my opinion neither the JC40 has the power to gig. I explain myself. On paper they have enough power but with the volume at noon if your guitar is equipped with hi output pickups the amp will break up. To stay clean the volume must not be over 4/5.
