quite niche but the gas lamps in the Arcades were made by William Sugg & Co of England, especially for the park. This same company made the gas lamps for Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and much of Westminster. Some of their original lamps still exist in London today.
I went two months ago and was astonished, for some reason I expected a cheaper smaller version of the American parks, but it's it's own whole thing, it's beautiful!
I adore watching hidden secrets when I go to Disney I always point them out to my family and guests they ask where I knew that from and I just say TPMVIDS !😊❤
2:24 … I think the keys are also to do with the old Disney 7 Keys. They were the guidelines we used to follow as Cast Members. Each character had their own under the 7 guest service guidelines or know as the 7 keys. Also the Key with the D is now used for the Safety Key in the new 5 keys of Disney.
6:20 Worth noting that the easter egg on the Jeep only works if you use the old American pattern for a date-code, since France (like a lot of the world) goes day-month-year instead
5:33, so my favorite fact about the toy story lands is about the scale and how much thought went into the making of the park. Going by the scale of giant shoe prints on the ground, you can determine how tall Andy would be, and more so how small the guests would be as well. If like at Disneyland the footprints are 25 feet long, you can use that to tell how tall Andy would be in real life. The average size for a 10 year old boy is about 4 feet tall, meaning if you scale it up he would be about 150 feet tall. The guest would be about 2.5 inches tall, which happens to be the average size of the Army Men.
I had frog legs! They're pretty nice and taste kinda river fish-like; I liked the taste but it isn't my favourite and I'd order them again only if I had a craving because they're also bony like chicken wings and it's annoying (yeah, I don't like to deal with chicken wings and fish either)
Always love dlp one of my favourite secret photos is the fact that the sight lines from just before the treehouse gives you the pirate ship attacking the fort (pirates of the Caribbean entrance) from while using skull island for cover, and at night the lighting is fantastic for it
9:02 These Indian teepee are also the remains of an old playground for children on the theme of Pocahontas present at the opening of the park! (It would be nice to have a special video on the attractions removed from the park)
I've eaten fried frogs legs before and I do enjoy them whenever I have the chance to eat them; the phrase "tastse like chicken" isn't really wasted here as it does have a similar tastes (at least to me) but not 100% the same as they are a bit chewier and have a little more or a salty taste
Thank you TPM Vids for showcasing more of my "main" Disney Park in France! As a European, this is my go-to Disney Park. I've gone so may times and thanks to you, there are so many things that I haven't even seen :D
I was waiting for the French Toy Story date to be recorded as date, month, year like “they better had have done this”. Well played Disneyland, good job. (This is the superior and correct format btw)
I'm going to Disneyland Paris in August and I love telling my family all the hidden secrets that I find out about through you. Keep doing what you're doing! 🙂
These facts are so fascinating! I could be wrong, but I think that the D key could belong to Doc because of the letter D being the first letter in both Doc and Disney! Great work, TPM VIDS. Keep it up!😊
what a great videon on DLP ^^ The french voice of the Génie is Richard Darbois, he's the french voice of Harison Ford, Buzz Lightyear and Louis from the Princess and the Frog (and many lots like Patrick Swayze, Biff Tannen or Dan Aykroyd) ^^ and "Histoire de Jouets" it's the French canadian name of Toy Story, in France it's Toy Story ^^
I’m lucky enough that I HAVE actually had frogs legs before! An asian buffet that used to be near where my childhood home was actually served fried frogs legs (the owner liked frogs legs). Not a lot of meat, BUT he seasoned them with a sweet chili sauce and they were legit good! I don’t want to say they tasted like chicken, because that’s a load of bunk, but they do take on the flavor of whatever you season them with.
There’s another baseball Easter egg in the building facade. It’s called the Doubleday Building. Abner Doubleday is credited with inventing baseball. There’s also a “WDI” hidden in the intricate facade of Adventureland. It’s on the right side as you enter the land from the hub. It’s about 12 ft up.
American inventors? Alexander Graham Bell was Scottish and Tesla is Croation. Yes, I know what the wiki says for both of these people but they are not American.
I’m confused…. Why does the cement stamp need to be backwards for the audience to read it? Did old films always flip the image like a mirror? It seems like it should be obvious but my brain is getting hung up on it… what am i missing??? I know I’ve taken videos before with words not being backwards.
Frog (the edible one) just taste like chicken, and the texture is almost like chicken muscle as well, only more firmer. But be warned, they have lots of tiny bones. We Chinese do eat a type of edible frogs usually resides in paddy field. We cook porridge with it.
I really wish they had just kept all attractions original. As in with the original American voices. I would love to take my kids to the only Disney park in Europe but they won't understand a word. French is not standard in schools, English is.
Just to clarify Edison didn’t invent that much. He was business man with lots of money. Compare to the other inventors, who couldn’t afford to distribute, Edison would patten and take credit for the inventions. He was infamous in the community. He might not have even invented the lightbulb to begin with because he did have an assistant Madison Dally.
I have eaten frog legs! My aunt lives in France and I tend to visit her once or twice a year. Frog's legs are okay; it's true that they taste like chicken, but they are much more bland. Not bad by any means, but I'd just choose chicken instead.
Frog leg consumer here. In my town, we had a buffet place that served salt and pepper frog legs They taste like chicken but are alot more tender and very juicy. I didnt know it was a french delicacy though.
I live in Germany and was in Disney land Paris only once in my life. But with Notre Dame reopening in December this year, I plan a Trip to Paris and this time, i will revisit the Parc. 🥰🥰🥰
I cannot wait to see the top 10 hidden secrets on Tiana's ride. Because we all know there will be. I wonder if Biar Rabbit is hiding among mama' odies bottles. or feasting on Tiana's food, or listening to Louis' music.
Frog legs taste like nothing. They pretty much taste of what they are seasoned with. Frog is such a bland meat but it does have a slight taste that tells you it’s not chicken or beef which is erased once you freeze them. After that they taste of seasoning. In Florida we season and fry them. You see it on menus sometimes in Miami.
I have a little secret that people doesnt normally go to in Paris! There is a cinderella carriage near the plaza of where that cinderella is, not a lot of people sees it and its a pretty unique thing regarding the movie!
Am I the only one that finds it very ironic that the Seven Dwarve's Cottage is filled with mostly Frozen Merchandise? 😅🤣
Let it go 😉
You are definitely NOT the only one!
Idk about “ironic,” but it’s definitely annoying. 😂
It's so interesting!

Wow, neat!
2:24 I'd imagine that the keys would belong to Doc,since he's kind of the de facto leader.
I agree with you!

I always thought that Disney Land Paris was the most underrated park
It most definitely it in my opinion!
It’s good for people in the uk who can’t afford to go to the one in rhe US
Definitely is! I never see any RUclipsrs talk about it

I have found some hidden secrets before. I can tell you about them if you want😊by the way love your vids.
That backwards logo explanation sounds like someone messed up and bulls**tted a reason why they shouldn't be fired on the spot.
I agree. It makes no sense to me because wouldn't the lettering on the building also need to be backwards for that reason?
Knowing they turned the british characters restaurant a chippy makes this one of the best parks
