Found the animatronic Dinosaur B Mode very interesting. Whenever we ride this ride, we always look the opposite way of the main Carnotaurus on purpose as a joke for the picture because everyone else in the car is always looking the right way. Little did we know there was another Carnotaurus we were looking at there the whole time! 🦖
I went to Disney World last year and was pleasantly surprised to find all these animatronics working perfectly! The only malfunction I saw was on Little Mermaid in MK, during the "under the sea" sequence, one of Ariel's eyes wasn't moving, so she was completely cross-eyed at one point. I really wish I got a video of it!
There's been a few times we've seen B modes. The Kylo animatronic was down for like... a solid month so we saw B mode Kylo several times. We also have experienced the Runaway Railway B mode too. It's always really cool to see
I went on a behind the scenes tour for smugglers run wdw. The CMs are cross trained and told stories about Rise. There was some wild things. But they told a fun fact about Kylo's animatronic. 90% of the malfunctions are caused by the door that conceals him in the beginning. Apparently the animatronic is super reliable but the piece of metal that swings up has always been problematic
Thanks for the new video TPM! Another fun B-mode in Smugglers Run is that in the second pre-show right before you board there is a B-mode for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser guests. When you go to Galaxy’s Edge during Starcruiser, you get a pin to wear. The cast members see the pins and give you special interactions, one of which is then pushing a button in this pre-show that gives Hondo a few extra lines that reference the guests on the Halcyon and ties in their story on the ship! It’s really cool and really seamless!
To be honest, I'd say yes to having crew members mention that the Shaman animatronic won't be present in the Avatar ride. I love her, and I'd do anything to see her for the first time as well. Her movements are so graceful and she is indeed a HUMONGUS animatronic.

Its great to see that some animatronics have a B mode if they happen to malfunction. Because when the animatronic happens to malfunction, with the B mode, it won't alter your experience too much.
Despite how I feel towards Disney with they’re films, I still get amazed with they’re animatronics, it’s interesting how they work and why they breakdown as they do in whichever manner they do and I learn from your videos. By the end of it, I will give credit where it’s due towards the Imageneers for creating something that has the same movement as us since that can’t be easy to build.

I recently went to California Adventures, and I experienced B modes on Guardians of the Galaxy, and Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway. Coolest thing ever!
Thank you tpm vids for putting in my clip of the Rey transmission not working! It was my first time going on the ride, when we broke down. Then 30 minutes later, the transmission failed. Thankfully the rest of the ride went smoothly and I had already seen the preshow.
I have luckily never seen a malfunction on Rise of the Resistance, but when my family and I planned a trip to Disney World, we planned this as a once in a life time trip because we don't expect to be able to go back. We planned one day in animal kingdom and when going on the Navi River ride the Shaman was in B mode and I was so sad. I wanted to do the ride again to see if we could see the actual animatronic but a party member got grumpy so we ended up leaving the park early. Now I just admire her from afar by watching videos like this one. Love this series though, TPM Vids is amazing.

I have seen Hondo operate in B-Mode a couple of times. It's not my favorite B-Mode operation but it is better than nothing. My sister and I are currently at Disneyland and we just saw Rocket on Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout (as well as it's Halloween overlay Monsters After Dark) run in B-Mode. His B-Mode is pretty cool. They used the exact same dialog from both rides and he already has the Walkman in his hands when he is in B-Mode).
I went on guardians of the galaxy and it was malfunctioning twice first we didn’t even get to do to the pre show then when we were about to get sent back it all freezes and then in the end we don’t see the guardians talk to us but I got to go again and it was great Also every time I went on the Star Wars so far I have got plan B
We got the screen B mode on Navi River Journey. I was really looking forward to the shaman animatronic, and you’re right, it was pretty disappointing to see just the screen. I still liked the ride, though. My son is so excited to know that we saw a B mode, though.
I went to Disneyland the Monday before Thanksgiving and got to see a few malfunctions on Small World Holiday, a malfunction on Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, and the B-Mode carnival scene on Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. It was pretty awesome.
@@RoxyChown TPM has another video where it is explained that since Ariel has a tail, she can't get off the boat at the end of Fantasmic so they throw a big blanket over her to hide her!
Watching these videos make me want to go to Disneyland so bad again for my birthday but idk if I’ll be able to go because my birthday is near Halloween {October 28th} and my parents were saying they might not be able to buy the halloween tickets in time and it would be a waste to still go since the park closes early 🥲
@2:50 Honestly... B Mode for that MMRR scene looks better than the A Mode... IMHO... Sad for the front row of the cars, but when was the last time Disney took sightlines seriously? They don't care about your experience anymore so long as they have your money.

B mode is constantly being worked on to make sure it can be used if A mode has to be switched

The Kylo Ren b-mode malfunction got me laughing for some reason. I think it’s because there’s a piece of ceiling in front of him 😂
