- It appears the Stanley Cup Final is far from over, while the Toronto Maple Leafs could be keeping tabs on a top free-agent forward. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti give their thoughts on the Edmonton Oilers picking up another win to force a Game 6 in the Stanley Cup Final as Connor McDavid continues to carry his team on his back which makes the guys wonder if McDavid is awarded the Conn Smythe trophy win or lose. after listening to so-called experts, here is Leafs lineup next year
I think they should have a look at getting saros and a top 4 defenseman for Marnier and Tavares
A top tier goalie should be there first option and then a top pairing defenseman

He'd be a great addition to any team lacking offence. But that isn't Leafs
The Leafs are in on at least 70 per cent of every trade rumour since 1879. Too bad the salary cap doesn't let Toronto spend 250 million just on forwards because they would do it!
Don't believe in any of this media talk. Actually getting tiresome of it. Most likely the Leafs will be status quo just accept it. The real season to speculate is the end of next season when a couple of big money comes off the books.
Ya Leafs should sign an average 29yr old to a long term contract. Guntzel is a good player. If he would sign for 2yrs at 4.5per ok. They need 2rh d-men a goalie and a decent center. Why not try to trade Robertson for a BIG 3rd line winger, probably could do that.
You mean to tell me "all" GM's don't make calls. Come on now Treliving is not special. Every GM does it! Not every team has a Tkachuk that needed to be traded at the time.
..Jake Guentzel would require a massive overpay...and likely sees the Leafs as mediocre and signs elsewhere..
It’ll go to game 7 cuz Florida will want another crack to win at home. Just like how they let Edmonton win game 4 to win at home in 5 according to all the social media experts. Hahahahaha
