Sacred Summer Solstice Ceremony on Iona, Scotland.
Summer Solstice is a celebration of the longest day of the year. It is a celebration of Life and Light. Summer Solstice is a powerful time to commune, dance and sing with the Earth; to appreciate and celebrate the fullness of the live-giving rays of the Sun; to acknowledge and celebrate the sacredness of all Life; and, to give thanks to the Mother of All Life for her gifts of abundance in our lives.
On this anciently celebrated high holy day throughout all cultures and all times, it is a special time to engage in a personal way with the great Elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit; a time to invite the Elementals, Angels, and Ancestral Guardian Spirits to come closer; and to honour our ancient Ancestors and our Galactic Family of Light.
This video was filmed on Summer Solstice 2023 in the southwest of Iona, off the path leading to St. Columba's Bay, nestled between two rock boulders. To the east could be seen the wild and rocky parts of the south of Iona. To the east, a view of the vast Atlantic Ocean could be seen. The Spirit of the Well of the South Wind was present for this ceremony.
I would like to acknowledge and honour the great ancestral spirits of the Celts, Druids, Druidesses, Picts and Scots who have lived, loved, and died on this Holy Island of Iona, Scotland. Their presence, respect, and love of the land is palpable throughout Iona, in all her sacred places, in Nature, through the wind, the rocks and crystals, the holy wells, and the sea.
