Wow, brilliant! I knew the absolute basics- partly from your earlier vids!- Henry becoming king wasn't even on her mind til Edward IV died, she just wanted Henry safe in England as the Earl of Richmond, & she tried to "get along with" the Yorkist regime to that end- but the detailed explanation filled in so much for me! Thankyou! Point 2 came straight to my mind- she certainly wouldn't have wanted to overthrow Henry VI! Among other things, he was her son's half-uncle, & I believe he treated his half-brothers well.

I've seen some of your other videos and you present things as fair as possibly. I know the WOTR was not so cut and dry and I am wondering if both "sides" were just getting sick of the constant nonsense and fighting. Can you do a video about that? Also, i would really love to see one on Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. Elizabeth did not seem as interested in politics as some have indicated and I wonder if she didn't choose to play a limited role in the grand politics and focused more on things she could actually do such as social issues.

I think she was a remarkable lady, it's amazing that she gave birth to Henry at 13, and from that age put him first.🌺

Margaret Beauford, in my opinion, was very resilient and a survivor. There were not a lot of rights for women, even noble women so I don't know why some see her as this mean, conniving woman when she seemed to just want to survive as many in that time. I don't buy this hate she was suppose to have for the Yorks because if I am not mistaken she was just as related to the Yorks as she was to the Lancasters. I would have done the same, try to get my only child to come home through legal means and his survival would have been her top priority as mine would have been, as Elizabeth Woodvilles was. That is amazing when you think about it. Plus, she didn't seem to hate Edward VI or his wife, so why do so many people think so? I think she, as others on both "sides" were just sick of the constant fighting, but I may be wrong.

I never liked Margaret. Always been a Yorkist sympathizer. This video was very informative and does shed a new light for me. Thank you for the research that you put into your videos.
