bibarel has 3 of the best abilities of all time: simple, which doubles any stat change applied to it (swords dance becomes a +4 instead of +2, or x3 instead of x2); unaware which allows it to completely ignore all stat changes the opposing mon has; and moody which is a banned ability because it raises 1 random stat by 2 and lowers one by 1 at the end of every turn. the bidoof here had unaware bc it didn't go +3 on the first swords dance and we would know if it had moody. i unironically used one in my brilliant diamond playthrough. you have no idea how many ingame teams that thing can blow enormous holes in, clean up, or even outright sweep with simple. a simple bibarel with hasty nature and swords dance, aqua jet, rollout, and crunch ate up several elite 4 members' teams for me and even helped me beat cynthia. this thing is a fucking powerhouse if you treat it properly.

Also sucker punch deals only dmg if the oponent prepares a offensive attack. Since bidoof used sworddance (wich is a defensive attack) sucker punch fails automatically. Nah nah, legends say he never had any friends in the first place.
Does he not know how 100% accuracy works? It just means that the attacking pokemon, with no statuses, will not be the cause of a move to miss. . It's not like Swift, where it CANT MISS.
Wait it works like that?
@@Slurreo Yep. It’s like Jeff’s gun in Earthbound.
Moreover Sucker punch only works if opponent was going to attack. The moron didn't even knew why it was missing

@@arbaazhasan4627 The turn he complained about it missing, Temp's Togekiss used Air Slash. Sucker Punch just missed. Togekiss had Bright Powder maybe? Not sure how else it would have missed.
For those wondering togekiss probably has bright powder thats why sucker punch wouldve missed especially since is bulky togekiss without leftovers
Thank you. I didn't get it until you said it. I myself am a noob, even though I've been playing forever.
I laughed my ass off when the wombo combo started playing and then kept laughing when it only did 22% to the Aggron
"You don't get this lucky twice in a row." He's THIS close to getting it.
After the first air slash flinched, I was like, "Ok, so that's grace toge, so they're probably all gonna flinch...", and when I saw the Sucker Punch miss the doof, I was very much "This is pp stall, so if the salt noob wanted to actually win, they'd swap to dark pulse while there's still PP left in sucker punch to bait out the free shot", and they didn't.
How did Sucker Punch miss tho?
No Idea about this Game, I just casually played the Pokemon Games
My guess is that Togekiss has Bright Powder equipped.
@@Kuid4or3 late reply, you probably found out by now, but, sucker punch doesn't work if the opponent is using a non-damaging move (aka: any status move). It's basically a counter with priority. And I'm utterly baffled that this dude knew that it always hits first, and that it's 100% accurate, but somehow didn't continue reading for its most important gimmick lol
Edit: ah, I see they where complaining about Togekiss using air slash, and sucker punch still failing. Yeah, Togekiss must have bright powder, which makes the opponents accuracy 0.9x (doubled by its ability serene grace). But now I'm more confused, cause if they knew what sucker punch did, why did they keep spamming it against Bidoof???? They could've just used dark pulse and won??? They literally don't know how PP stalling works???? That's even more shocking! Lol
@@TheBlueStarGal2 bidoof is faster so crunch will win the fight, but SP hits first; he's hoping to drill the doof with the priority move.
@@mxspokes I know but Bidoof was spamming swords dance to obviously PP stall them. After they saw that, they should've clicked dark pulse despite the risk, cause it was their only win condition. Unless they somehow thought it would avoid their 100% accurate move. Speed and evasion are two different stats! The only reason Temp won was cause he predicted that his opponent wouldn't try any mind games and just spam their priority move lol

So, mr. account’s comment here reminds me of a quote from Arnold Palmer.
He was a golfer who made an incredibly difficult shot during one of his games. When asked how it felt to get so lucky, he replied, “It’s a funny thing. The more I practice, the luckier I get.”
That’s what Temp demonstrates in his videos. His expertise with this game appears as “luck” to these salty players who aren’t as skilled.
Dude, he got very, very lucky that first game.
Obi-Wan: In my experience, there's no such thing as luck.
He was very lucky in the first match.
Guys, dealing with chance is also a matter of skill and expertise. You make the most of it when it favours you and you find work-arounds when it's against you (like the regice landing a focus blast despite confusion)
@@argonhammer9352 as per Pike Queen Lucy: It's more like a game that tests if one has what it takes as a trainer... to draw "luck" towards him.
Was that Togekiss holding a Bright Powder by chance? That's the only thing I can think of that caused that Sucker Punch to miss.
And miss only once.
Togekiss was holding bright powder indeed

@@noahsaint3232 im not really surprised to see thats his way to get people into being mad / toxic since i dont think a community can be as toxic as that
That is exactly what i thought. There are 2 possibilities:
1. Temp has no life and plays 24/7 to get a toxic player to fight him.
2. There is some egging on hidden behind the scenes, which is slightly toxic and is supposed to bait normal people into making content for him
Spiritomb is just a mere snack for the jaws of god bidoof
He kept using sucker punch… even though it didn’t miss… it FAILED!

Bro swords dance plus his ability is nothing to sneeze at. You gotta figure moves like endeavor plus that would be lethal
@@Aliyah_666 if you're running endeavor, swords dance is pointless, no?
@@FringeSpectre yes it is pointless, endeavor sets enemy hp to match yours so it doesnt actually do damage. however, bidoof/bibarrel has access to some decent physical moves. quick attack/aqua jet for priority. crunch, superpower, iron tail, bulldoze, pluck for coverage. and headbutt, giga impact, skull bash, double edge, waterfall, aqua tail and strength for solid stab moves. some of the mentioned ones are tms and egg moves, but you're free to pick and choose.
bibarel has 3 of the best abilities of all time: simple, which doubles any stat change applied to it (swords dance becomes a +4 instead of +2, or x3 instead of x2); unaware which allows it to completely ignore all stat changes the opposing mon has; and moody which is a banned ability because it raises 1 random stat by 2 and lowers one by 1 at the end of every turn. the bidoof here had unaware bc it didn't go +3 on the first swords dance and we would know if it had moody. i unironically used one in my brilliant diamond playthrough. you have no idea how many ingame teams that thing can blow enormous holes in, clean up, or even outright sweep with simple. a simple bibarel with hasty nature and swords dance, aqua jet, rollout, and crunch ate up several elite 4 members' teams for me and even helped me beat cynthia. this thing is a fucking powerhouse if you treat it properly.

Ive been binging these and its funny to me how many people say "stop" like Temp is gonna be all "oh your right that strategy thats demolishing you is not fair id better stop rn my bad"
Ofc the first conclusion is cheating instead of something like, you know, Bright Powder, the item that reduces opponents’ accuracy by 10%?
Also you lose the right to complain when you put a Figy berry on a -Atk Regice and still manage to hit two Focus Blasts. He also never hit himself in confusion and never got fully paralyzed. Yet he still has the audacity to complain about RNG.
Also sucker punch deals only dmg if the oponent prepares a offensive attack. Since bidoof used sworddance (wich is a defensive attack) sucker punch fails automatically. Also sucker punch has like 8 ap so temp only needed to count to know when his bidoof should attack, just to clarify the last turn in this battle.
@@reeno1357 On showdown you don’t even need to count, the little popup window on the mon will tell you when the PP runs out. Hey temp, I really admire your clever strategies.
