      Confusion berries (Agauv, Figy, Iapapa, Mago, and Wiki) only cause confusion if it’s a flavour the Pokémon doesn’t like.
      In Gen 4 onward, sitrus berries healed 25% of the user’s HP, while confusion berries healed 12.5%. This was changed in Gen 7, where confusion berries were buffed to 50%, making them the optimal choice.

      does anyone here remember when you would see a sigilyph in gen 7 randoms it would pretty much decide the match? the right set on sigilyph only has 3 things it can't outright beat: houndoom, incineroar, and arguably umbreon. its ability would be magic guard and it would hold flame orb. the moves would be cosmic power (raises both defenses by 1), roost, stored power (gets stronger the more boosts you have), and psycho shift (which cures your status condition and passes it to the opponent). you'd pass burns but be unaffected by your own, then keep cosmic power/roosting until they literally do nothing even with supereffective crits. use stored power to blow through all non-dark types, and for dark types other than houndoom/incineroar/arguably umbreon you just burn it and let it wear itself out. it was stupidly broken to only not outright beat a grand total of 3 mons which could be handled by your other 5.

    Ofc the first conclusion is cheating instead of something like, you know, Bright Powder, the item that reduces opponents’ accuracy by 10%?
    Also you lose the right to complain when you put a Figy berry on a -Atk Regice and still manage to hit two Focus Blasts. He also never hit himself in confusion and never got fully paralyzed. Yet he still has the audacity to complain about RNG.

    • @reeno1357
      @reeno1357 2 года назад

      Also sucker punch deals only dmg if the oponent prepares a offensive attack. Since bidoof used sworddance (wich is a defensive attack) sucker punch fails automatically. Also sucker punch has like 8 ap so temp only needed to count to know when his bidoof should attack, just to clarify the last turn in this battle.

    • @nategwright
      @nategwright 2 года назад

      @@reeno1357 On showdown you don’t even need to count, the little popup window on the mon will tell you when the PP runs out. But yeah if you keep trying to Sucker Punch and he’s Swords Danced for like 3 turns after hitting +6 and you _still_ can’t figure out that he’s PP stalling, you really should not be complaining.

    Hey temp, I really admire your clever strategies. Could you possibly attach a synopsis at hte end of some of these videos touching on one or two methods you use? maybe offer possible counters to your own strategies to show that you're not actually cheating so much as using tactics/strategies to win.

      He puts his team in the description. Most of tempts' strategies can be beaten fairly easily if you know what you are doing. That's what makes his videos so clown, his teams are objectively weaker with memeworthy movesets. He's just outplaying his opponents.

      When Sucker Punch fails due to the opponent using a non-attacking move, the text says that it failed, not that it missed. If you go back and watch that part of the video, you'll see that his Togekiss was using Air Slash on that turn, and Sucker Punch actually did miss. He probably had Bright Powder as his Togekiss item.
