Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Obviously because he was told how it's pronounced. If you were reading her name the first time allowed with no prior knowledge of Japanese pronunciation, you would most likely say "Ott-su-ko" instead of "Ottz-ko", cuz the "su" is silent sorta speak(The japanese themselves don't say it's silent, it's just not annuciated or something, prolly to save time)
@@thegloriousstrategist877 He might also be a fan of hers, as well, which could be another reason why he didn't mispronounce it. Entertainment hosts have still managed to mispronounce foreign names, despite having been told how to pronounce it prior to announcing their guest. I'm simply expressing that I appreciate James didn't mispronounce it.
