That’s exactly what they said to eat more carbs and guess what my glucose levels are all whacked up, I think women with gestational diabetes should limit their carbs and that’s a rule... I dnt agree with eat more if you have diabetes ...
I'm in my first trimester, I'm always hungry but at the same time have 0 appetite. I'm having a hard time with my food intake because the thought of food makes me sick.
@@mariahneely130 I'm 20 weeks now. It did go away around week 15 or so. 😊 Unfortunately nothing helped me. But best advice would be to just try to snack through out the day if you are unable to eat meals.
I'm there right now, and it's so frustrating having all these cravings and not wanting to eat at the same time. Foods I used to love, now I just look at and I'm like, if I put that in my mouth I'm going to throw up 😐
Okay Im 16 weeks now and I'm just having so much trouble with what to eat and not even feeling as hungry as I should. Its confusing cuz I know my body is hungry but I always feel sick. I struggle every day not knowing what to eat. I go into the kitchen nothing looks good or healthy to me or makes me feel sick. Im sensitive to smells. Is it bad I just want someone to be the one to cook food for me. To help motivate what to eat. I just feel horrible and like im becoming malnutritioned. Should I just go live with my mom.
As an update I am 26 weeks now and it has gotten better. I like food again and like planning my meals sometimes and watching cooking videos. Altho now Im getting heartburn and my belly is stretching and it feels crazy lol. But Im glad it has gotten better. I hope you guys have started feeling better😇🤗
You know I am just now finding out proper nutrition for my baby, and I have 3 months left. I feel so horrible my doctor hasn’t been helping me with how I eat. I have been gaining too much weight but she just tells me to lower my calorie intake so I do. And I eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full. I feel like such a horrible mom. I feel like my dr could have helped me more and today I had to leave work because I am so light headed and feel like I’m going to pass out and she just told me to drink more water but I drink more than enough water. Anyone else struggle with this because I just feel horrible.
Yes!! And you are NOT a horrible mom! I'm 6 months along with my first baby and have not been craving healthy foods like I normally do! 😢 You can make a difference on your baby's health even in the later months. You've got this, mama! 💗
Same here love. Today my doctor basically told me I was overweight and to keep diabetes in mind. I feel so bad. I’m waiting on my diabetes results to come back. I am 25 weeks and just now looking into a proper diet.
@@tanyab2690 you got this moma! Just a heads up and something I’ve learned from other Doctors that being overweight or having weight gain doesn’t play such a hug roll in GD. I know women who gained barley any weight and had it and I know tons of women who gained close to 80 pounds and didn’t have it. Sometimes doctors play too close to text book and like to blame their patients for something that isn’t easily avoided by diet or proper weight gain. It has to do with your hormones. The weight gain just slightly highers your chances of having it ‘slightly’ ‘barley’. If you end up having it you would have had it no matter how much weight you gained. And good news!! I know many women who did have it and their babies are strong and healthy! The side affects are more rare than what doctors like to think. Stay strong and you got this moma and I pray for your health! Sending lots of love and peaceful vibes! ❤️🥰🙏🏻
@@Dark_Abyss375 thank you so much for the encouraging words. I gained about 30 lbs in total, but I feel fine. Again thank you so much for easing my mind. I won’t be so strict on myself, but I’ll still eat better. Wishing you the best as well hun.
@@tanyab2690 you are very welcome! I gained a total of 55 lbs! So you are doing really good hun ❤️ Same here! I feel much better eating the way I have anyways I will definitely continue to eat this way after birth as well I feel like I have so much more energy! Thank you very much for your kind words and wishes!
Love these key tips you summarized! Most women know to take a prenatal, don't smoke, don't drink, and avoid raw sushi and that's about as far as their prenatal counseling goes. This is a great summary of prenatal nutritional requirements that women don't get from their OB's, I hope this video reaches a lot of pregnant women!!!
Talking to a Japanese friend, sushi is completely fine as long as you eat fish thats low in mercury, salmon (shashimi) has little to no mercury so its okee dokee. In Japan, pregnant women eat sushi on a daily basis and there has never been any pregnancy complications connected to sushi. Its just "taboo" in America and Canada.
I’m so worried right now… I’m in the first trimester and entering the second… I throw up a lot I never feel like eating and I struggle finding anything I can stomach. I really want to feed the fetus well for a healthy baby :(
I’m in my first trimester and I can barely eat at all :( I’m so worried about my baby she makes me so nauseous that I can’t even look at food. My mom forces me to eat and it sucks because I cry because I can’t stand the smell or the taste of food.
Hi, if I go the website for prenatal vitamin which you have given bellow in your post, I couldn’t find any options for first, second or third trimester prenatal. All the options are for general prenatal vitamins. Can you please let me know from where I can buy those trimester ones prenatal vitamins! Also, can I change my prenatal which I am taking with the one you suggested? Thanks 😊
Hi dear, After 3 months I'm planning to get pregnant. I heard folate is good than folic acid. But we both don't have any idea to choose the best prenatal vitamins. Could you please suggest the best one for us?
My first pregnancy I was taking my prenatal pills but then I stopped I was drinking a lot of water but then I stopped and started drinking soda and then I ended up becoming anemic and blacked out twice in the shower it's a good thing my boyfriend caught me and I didn't fall on the floor so now I'm on my 2 pregnancy and I'm trying to eat better
I'm 15 weeks pregnant and no one believes me cause I'm so small. I have no appetite because I've always done intermittent fasting and get full really fast. My husband wants me to eat more but he is also into bodybuilding and can't eat alot because of fasting. We are trying to add more meals but it's been really hard to force my self to eat throughout the day. It's stressful I hope I can get my intake up.
It's healthiest to eat a balanced diet... if your doctor is advising you based upon your medical history or the presence of an underlying condition, then I would take heed. I wouldn't cut out all carbs, but I'd definitely be mindful of the types of foods I was eating.
Hi there, have you considered this kind of diet plan called the Okibetonic Secrets? My buddy says it helps people lost lots of weight. Is that possible? I also noticed numerous good review about this diet plan. Thoughts?
One cup cooked provides about 8 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. Unlike some plant proteins, quinoa is a complete protein, meaning that it contains all nine essential amino acids that our bodies cannot make on their own.
