Me a Professional ArC ThRowEr, Can tell you its the best Weapon to use for all factions! Notice I say All and not "both" sins it can 1 shot your Teammates (bY accIdeNT) as well ;). Either ways Highly Recommend, as long as your Teammates isn't dumb and keeps running in font of a Guy using Zeus's power thinking they can "help"., bro the only one I'm helping is my aim to not hit you because you standing next to 20 hunters and thinking you can take em on with your silly shotgun.
I love playing off-meta guns and specs, so I ran this gun all the time. Now people are starting to pick it and realise how good it is. So it's become meta But I don't want to give it up.
I like the arc thrower, it is however less effective against bugs due to it "missing" a lot at melee range, so hunters/stalkers are a problem for it. And it can technically take out any armoured target, but I don't recommend using it against tanks and bile titans, as it takes too long to kill them. Even hulks are a little bit on the long side to deal with, chargers are a lot faster to kill now with the head health nerf.
FR Ive been loving the arc thrower so much lately, I shoot at a charger in-front of me and the arc reflects off the charger’s armor and does a 180° turn and kills my 3 teammates :)
It will kill a tank as well as the turret towers as it bypasses armor all together and deals damage. Takes a few shots and definitely isn’t a laser cannon to the vents type thing but it will do the job and clear what ever else is nearby. I don’t think the Devs will nerf the AT due to its friendly fire capability.

Shield pack + arc thrower + standing on a patriot.... mind. blown. 🤯

It can two shot a bile titan as long as it hits the titans face
Its is so good at clearing bug breaches, and most likely bot drops, havent tried it.
It's not as good but you can definitely kill anything less that a hulk easily. Hulks and tanks seem to just not give a fuck about it tho
