This game reminded me of how we played back in the school days. First you try rush and if it fails you go straight to BCs/carriers/guardians/whatever because you had no idea what to do else 😅

i don't know if someone else do it, but when i watch cast of starcraft games i like to imagine those are factions of the game, like if terran is blue are Raynor's raiders, if red they are the dominion, if they are white they are the confedarate, if they are brown they are the UED. If Protoss is blue or teal is daelam, if they are red are the taldarin, etc
And brown and orange Zerg are renegades, red Zerg the most annoying cerebrate, purple the best ones, etc... But hey! White Terran is more UED than something else.

I do the same as for imagining the factions. The difference is I think of the sc1 factions only, those that are shown in the score board at the end of a game. So it makes orange protoss in a cast Auriga tribe for me, blue protoss - Sargas tribe, teal - Akilae tribe, red - Ara tribe. As for terrans, white ones are Alpha Squadron, brown - Omega Squadron, red - Elite guard (Dominion). Blue terrans are Mar Sara Militia, if I recall correctly.
at first sight, light in the bottom right might give insight into the height of tight builds, but much to my delight, the right fight was goodnight for all the protoss white-knights

EXCEPT that the positioning of this bunker is actually wonderful, AND light has gotten a shop and nearly finished spider mines behind this, and there's only 2 goons for now, it DOES look like the bunkers will slowly be pushed back BUT it may even be possible to get a tank and seige behind this. 5:41 CC starts. if this FINISHES, actually, light is fine, the nexus down here hasn't built any probes in forever, light is up SCVs even if you don't count the 2 that are up at the front. really well timed expansion, from light, because he can actually potentially take an advantage without killing the nexus if he just controls the area around it until his CC is nearly done. you NEVER see situations like this, where terran can survive not killing the nex on a bust. 5:46 no seige mode, but he did go tank off of the shop, something like 2-3 vultures, shop, tank and mines, more vultures, and expansion is his pattern here. 6:01 THAT MINE HIT MIGHT WIN THE GAME! crazy how important each unit is right now! toss needs to build up enough goons to rip down both bunkers, losing one and having one go down to red where the tank can kill it is ENORMOUS. this is actually crazy, i think light breaks this. the vulture even gets in, that's damage you can't afford, CC nearly done, so light is ahead even if he doesn't get the nexus. 7:17 nex is saved... but protoss is impossibly behind, 18 probes to 30 SCVs, both sides on 2 base, with terran getting seige mode, second shop, armory, second gas. and protoss on just 3 gate core, and nothing being made at the gates, and broke. basically these 4 goons need to go across the map and kill at least 2 tanks just to extend the game... except he can't because he doesn't have obs, and he knows there's mines. 7:54 with everything finishing here, for light, i expect he'll wait for about 5 tanks and just go kill his opponent. he COULD also build 2 pairs of goliaths and go into a third, if he'd rather do that, tho-- and starts goliath range, and an ebay, so looks like it'll be a fast 3rd. i know this game is weird, but actually this style of 4 goliaths with range, but no academy is becoming more common, and it's... really strange to me, because you can't scan to kill observers. in this case, observers are going to be absurdly late anyway, though. 8:52 reaver tech coming, there's no choice, you have to work some magic with reavers or the game simply ends. very patient from light, just building tanks, tanks, tanks, no factory adds, no 3rd, just tanks, doesnt need to die to anything here. 9:06 stargate, gonna be reaver into carrier. gonna just try to build reavers and have them magically keep him alive forever until he has carriers, it's honestly sensible. light to 5 factories. 10:09 academy, we'll probably see a second pair of goliaths, scan, push back observers, and i do expect a 3rd base, fast 2-1, and a big push. by the way, i've just done the math so you guys don't have to, to build 6 carriers out of 2 stargates and then fill the last pair of carriers with interceptors takes 6 minutes and 8 seconds. it's quite a long time. carriers start 10:30 or so, you have until 16:30 or so to get across the map. don't panic here. 11:08 ok, light unseiges, so he doesn't actually HAVE to unseige here, but he knows that all that money ISN'T spent on stuff that can help protoss defend. 12:05 yeah, since sinzz isn't snow, the shuttle wasn't ready to slow this moveout for 10 years, and this is pretty straightforward. Artosis is right about pantheon, it gets really hard and can't bust. Big problem. Way better when you at least have the option to bust. Huge stress reliever.
What I don't get is why the carrier is done double like that; I would have guessed stargate -> corsair, see what the enemy is doing, fleet beacon later, build carreirs out of one starport. Once carriers start appearing they can immediately assist in defense or expand even when the main army is ground.
Forge equals no bust? Is that simply because of photon cannons being an option? Think he could do pretty much the samt but then have to wait for siege tank to get the cannon/cannons. You also have to deal with goons with range much later!?
Man, I just resubbed to your twitch channel to watch some Vods but the donos are worse than ever. Couldn’t make it past 30 mins with all the SKREEE and butt stuff.
