Notably, they're the only currently meta deck to not take a hit, since HEROs had Liquid Soldier become Limited 2, Rose Dragons had Spell of Roses become once per duel and Roxrose Dragon become Limited 2 and Meklords had Meklord Assembly become Limited 3 and Meklord Refinement got freakin gutted to a once per duel with a turn-based effect. Number 95 is banned in the actual card game, and I doubt it's coming to Duel Links in any form any time soon. But Xyz Galaxy giving a free Number 90: Photon Lord or a free climb into Full-Armor and Cipher Blade, plus setting up the GY is pain...

Crazy how after MD honeymoon phase is over you can clearly see how duel links is just so much better than master duel despite being more than 5 years older. Better music, almost perfect character voicelines, and most importantly, a well balanced metagame where strategy actually matters and you dont instantly lose when going second unlike MD /TCG /OCG. the only "downside" of duel links is that is an expensive / grind intensive game to get ur complete deck, but the satisfaction u get when u complete ur deck is just so more intense in comparison to MD.
@Meganime MD music is good, but the biggest downside is that in most of the duels u hear the same standard song and u cant change it to your preference. and in replays even if other song was being played in the og duel, in the replay it changes to the default song - thats just one of the lame and lazy problems out of the many that md has

Also, I disagree on him being "amazing" in Arc-V. He's a copy-paste of an original Arc-V character with a severely rushed character arc there. He's much better in Zexal, even if I do agree with OP that he went downhill in the second half.
