KLM Economy Comfort Review: Fantastic Crew!

- Back in September of 2020 - on my birthday nonetheless - I got the chance to fly with KLM for the first time since the pandemic hit, a quick hop from Amsterdam to Budapest in Economy Comfort. To my surprise, other than several safety measures, KLM had done an extremely good job at getting things back to a normal level of service. The lounge was open, but without buffet and with served sandwiches instead. There are less flights operated, but the service level in economy is near identical to that pre-covid. In any case, a job well done.

For me personally, I find KLM's service very hard to beat.
I have Aspergers syndrome which is a form of Autism, I have often been bullied and misunderstood and misjudged by a whole lot of people throughout my life so customer service and how you treat someone really means a lot to me.
During the late 80s I had reason to fly with KLM quite a few times and I found their staff, cabin crew and pilots to be very friendly and most helpful.
Similarly I love to use Amsterdam Schiphol airport either as a destination or as my European Hub of choice.
You sound like many people who have flown with KLM, almost certainly would have no qualms about using them again and again.
As you say Schiphol airport is bright and airy and pretty easy to get around but the downfall can often be that this makes it a very popular airport therefore very busy!😬🥴
Are the 737-700s really the smallest that KLM has in its fleet?
I just thought that perhaps that tag might apply to the Embraer 175 or 190.

KLM have announced earlier this year that they are ditching their Boeing 737s in favour of the Airbus a320s and a321s.
Leaving Boeing following the aftermath of the 737-800 MAX debacle which resulted in a former employee revealing and detailing how the hierarchy demanded that corners were cut in order to try and keep up with Airbus.
Klm have normal a bad reputation
