- In today's Trip Report I am flying from Amsterdam to Seoul with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines on board their Boeing 777-200 in Economy Comfort.

Flew this very route 3 weeks ago, Inverness Amsterdam, then on to Seoul Korea to visit family. Flew out on the Dreamliner 787/900, very comfortable aircraft, even in economy, flight time was
around 15 hours. Came back on a 777/200, not quite as comfortable, but it did the job. Booked to go back again April 2023, both trips on the 777/200. Used to fly Emirates form Glasgow,
total journey time was 30+ hours, KLM make it much easier, can leave Inverness and be in Seoul in less that 18 hours. Do as I do Dominik, pre-book a meal of your choice, I tend to go for the
meat free type, then I know I will enjoy it, their veggie curry is epic, had it twice! .......LOVE KLM ... 💙💙💙👌

KLM is infamous for the food quality. LOL
Totally agree..also in Business Class..at the very low end of international business class food and also beverages. It has always been like this: they just dont spend money on F&B. On the plus side are their crews, though.
What the heck are you people talking about? I fly constantly for work and on multiple airlines, and KLM has one of the better economy meals. If anything, they are consistently good and the portion is very generous.
@@_w_w_ Admittedly, my own and my friends KLM experience is limited to business class. I could imagine in eco the difference could not be that big compared to better airlines.
@@homer3152 I have been in both front and back of the cabin and my experiences indicate KLM is the better airline when it comes to food being good and consistent.
Great video, well done. And I appreciate that you resist the trend of playing some silly repetitive music, hehe. I fully agree to the comment below about the poor quality of food and beverages on KLM..they are just thrifty when it comes to that. Its also true for business class and their lounges. Their main plus are the very nice and warm crews. Not sure its worth the money to pay the mark up for premium eco....even less in covid times when cabins are relatively empty..but i never tried this product.
@@Rick-ge1ri Richard, this seems to be a contentious issue and i dont want to fight over this. My experience is not ages ago, but just 2 years..have a look at my video of my flight to NBO. And i had another experience SIN-DPS-SIN. All in C. All food in a single plate drowned in tasteless sauce...sometimes just inedible. So was the experience of my friends. And if you find here a video showing a well arranged (thats all we can see on video) business class meal on KLM: tell me Mate. Finally: on my flights the last 2 years the business class wines were in the 8 Euro range..not really business class. Also the food in the AMS lounges was poor. My eternal experience with KLM: i love their dutch crews..but they dont invest money into F&B. And now i look forward to your video links which show the contrary.
@@homer3152 I fly KLM I would say at least once every two months - the food really varies. One flight to SFO it wasn’t anywhere near expectations only the dessert and then the next fly it surely exceeded mine (in economy comfort). It just depends on destination however I would say that their food is their main weakness

What window seat did you choose please?
When did you fly in March 2020? I was supposed to be on exactly this flight on March 17th 2020, but had to cancel. I rebooked for May 2020...and now I'm still waiting to go. I'm afraid before 2022 it will be impossible to travel to Korea. Luckily you made it to Seoul. Greetings from Austria!

@@kbst8411 Ich war leider nur im Transit, da ich einen Anschlussflug mit Korean Air nach Nagoya hatte. Seoul ist aber definitiv auch auf meiner Bucket List für die nächste Zeit :)

KLM gives its economy passengers the least legroom among all airlines worldwide. Schiphol is a chaotic and incomprehensible airport that once served as a model for JFK airport and still lives on those glory days, but Schiphol has now become a particularly poorly managed airport! But because you recorded this video in Corona time, it seemed to be paradise, just like flying KLM itself!
