  • Join me on the brilliant Harthill reservoir on the 3rd pond where we go in search of tench and bream on the feeder, a simple but effective way of fishing for species that live in this reservoir.
During this short session we fish using a method feeder and micro pellets to try tempt some of the lovely tench which reside in the lake. We catch a number of great looking tench up to around the 5lb mark which are great sport on light feeder tackle along with a few carp along the way.
The 3rd pond at harthill reservoir has in,y recently reopened and is a great venue for those looking to get a bend in the rod from carp bream tench and some very large roach
I hope you enjoy the video and it encourages you to get out there and get some fishing done
    Thanks Kayleigh x

I'm back to coarse fishing after 30 years fluff flinging, but now i wonder why I stayed away for so long ? Seeing those beautiful Tench takes me back to my teens with all night Tench fishing sessions at Mollington lakes. Thankyou Kayleigh, ✌❤ Bob.

Really enjoyed that film Kayleigh 👍🏻 I’ve recently got my son into fishing and he is absolutely desperate to catch his first tench. We live in the Bradford area options are limited locally 😟 Please could you (or your subscribers) recommend anywhere that has a good head of tench on a day ticket? Thanks so much and massive congratulations on your new arrival 😊

I watched a video a while back of a guy fishing on river for big chub….he caught a big one and like you didn’t use keepnet….anyway he caught few more holding them up for camera…about 20 minutes pasted and he hooked a another big chub…after he finished and was at home editing the video he noticed that the second chub had same marks to body and fins so looked abit harder only to realise he two had caught the same fish twice that day around 20 minutes apart lol!!! Just goes to show catching fish if done right cause’s them no harm!!! Great video by the way…look forward to watching more!!!

Do you think that's appropriate these days, having a child out In the fresh air, 😂 obviously only joking top vid as usual, I'm planning targeting a forgotten pond where I live, massive tench, I've seen them cruising around, I'm not sure it gets fished at all these days, would this method work on spooky un caught fish do you think?

Hello, I'm still debating what reel to buy for my 13' Drennan match pro float, standard rod not UL. Just pleasure panfish, trout, ect. On stillwater. Ponds, Small lakes. Waggler fishing. Would the Preston Centris 320, Be a good match? I have small hands. Thanks for the help, take care. Ray - from Oregon USA
