Wasn't in the first, wasn't in the sequel, but we all know this is the quintessential Top Gun song. Can't think of another film where that's a thing. A maverick sequel where this comes on would just kill it. MAYBE THEY'RE THINKING LONG-TERM.
Was hoping they'd play this song in the movie, maybe even in the credits. Would have been so hype.

Nah, the Tomcat is outdated. They should’ve used F22’s with their vertical takeoff ability. THAT would’ve been awesome. But the navy won’t let anyone near those, too much classified stuff on them for a movie
