Exquisite. Love the idea of using the outro as the intro and that's a very emotional and tender middle section. My 6-year old son loves this tune from hearing Judy Garland sing it, so it has a special place in my heart. You getting better, sir? No doubt about it!
Haunting... the ghosts of Christmas past... Days of Yore... Was just talking about this song tonight and how as one ages and family and friends gather no more... nor will ever again, Christmas tunes can take on some bluesy scales. :) Merry Christmas, John. Thx for the perceptive comment..
@bandnerd883 Any local music store will have Christmas collections fairly cheap. For backing tracks try Google: midi, christmas - lots of fun stuff out there
@davegalloway001 have a Yamaha 48* series. Intermediate range. Awhile back I got a Powell headjoint, but on this recording I think it's still the regular stock. The heart part I've been carrying around most of my life :) Thx for the kind words. & have yourself a merry little Christmas with your family.
@ElSombreroUnited - Any local music store will have Christmas collections fairly chepa. For backing tracks try Google: midi, christmas - lots of fun stuff out there
