Bergauf wird nicht mehr als 30 bis 40 km/h gefahren, bergab weit weniger, ich meine es sind so um die 20 km/h. Das dürfte aber auch immer von der Steigung abhängen. Bei 8% wird man schneller bergab fahren dürfen als bei knapp 20 in der Schöllenenschlucht. die HGe 4/4 schafft auf Zahnstange jedenfalls 40

It has to be cogwheel. Rail in middle is pulling the train
It's a Cog Wheel for the first part, later one it doesn't need it anymore because there aren't any steep tracks up/down hill anymore.
I just learned about cog wheels a short time ago. Love all trains.
