I was able to get 2 genuine Yanmar Dsls, & ive gotta say that these are the best little engines once you get rid of the junky in-tank fuel filter tank settup. Got rid of it finally 2wks ago, & it runs better. For oil I’d stick to the 15w40 or the 5w40. I ran 10w30 in one of mine, & it was kinda noisy. Put some 15w40 in it, & ran better. These need the Dsl additives in the oil.

I think the original Yanmar design is so solid that even the cheap clones hold up well.
