So the torpedoes can only be launched from the torpedo console downstairs and the operator has no radar/minimap and no distance indicator from the target? 😂
ya.. torpedo operator should only fire when the captain says so. no need for his own indicators. you have to coordinate with your crew. talking to ppl, you know..
pilot gets the ship into position, operator reports if the weapon is ready, captian doublechecks everything and gives the final order. thats how it works. pilot is responsible for distance and position.
@@FalconDS9 now just show me who of your friends wants to be the guy stuck in the bowels of the ship waiting for you to tell them what to do as their two hour play session of the day with nothing but one button to press. 😂
@@eavdmeer its a bit more then one button, cmon. he gets a remote camera, has to find and lock on to targets, has to make sure the reload mechanism keeps working and could even reload ammo from the cargo deck. might even need to repair the damn thing when engineering goes live.
and its not like you are forced to be there, in our group we rotate jobs so everyone gets to see every part of the game.
if you dont like to be part of a star trek like ship crew, maybe you prefer to be the fighter pilot. game offers many diffrent jobs.
@@FalconDS9 it wasn't my point that there is nothing else to do in the game. My point was that you are not going to find anyone to do these things in your big ship. I have my doubts about finding and designating targets. I did not see any radar screen or targeting option, but maybe we'll see some more videos pop up soon with more details
@@eavdmeer I'd be more than happy to be a torpedo operator/engineer, I usually sit in the bowels of my reclaimer waiting for the SCU boxes to pop out lol
First🎉
Congrats on the first recorded military capital ship kill :)
I'm pretty sure plenty of 890J's have been destroyed in the past.
@@gabzsy4924 Is an 890J really a capital ship tho?
That seems too slow, 500m/second min I'd say
what is the hp on the polaris?
as you can see, no longer indestructible. hp numbers are not relevant, the hp system gets removed anyways.
@@FalconDS9 ik bro but its gonna be a while till they remove the hp so till then i still wish to know the hp
@@mateoemanuel3517 Well looking at erkul for the ptu the hp is 3.947 million not including the shields at 454k hp, however that's total hp, if you break it down, its split to around to multiple sections so the M rear is 1.5 million hp, the m neck rear is 1.4 million hp and the m body is 918k hp.
it has over 21 million total missile damage and 10600 turret dps in total.
nasty bear helmet.
why cant you fire the torpedoes from the bridge? and the torpedo operator cant even tell how far you are? seems really dumb. its more primitive than WW1 ships, makes no sense
Idris >>>> Polaris !
