  • The newly launched Triumph Speed 400 may have a lovely neo-retro design, but in some ways, it actually feels quite a lot like the KTM 390 Duke. Zaran Mody brings the two together and tests them back to back to see how deep the similarities run.

Hey @autocarindia1, what do you think of Speed 400 performance on wet roads? I have this fear of slipping on wet roads even though the bike is good. Can you tell at what speeds would the speed 400 be comfortable to bend and turn along the corners?

if in gear acceleration is stronger and quicker in speed 400 than ktm, then ktm power surge makes how much difference? is it noticeable ? speed 400 should be better in that sense. Also add a race dynamics fuelx/ecu mod to speed 400 and ur in much better position at a much lower price ...u get best of both worlds...what do u think

I went from a 250 duke to a RC 390 and I cant express how much I love to lean over on this bike in hilly areas, knee scraping has become quite common for me and with the mods I have done to my RC, it pulls quite well down low, to the point even guys with bigger capacity naked bikes cant keep up.
