65-year-old fan here from Lynchburg, VA. David, please, you guys be careful with any place with HOAs. Not only do you have to abide by their guidelines, but you may run into a jealous and/or hateful neighbor who anonymously will submit letters of complaints, making your life full of aggravation. Whatever you decide to do, good luck with finding the right spot with good vibes all around for your family 🏡🧒🪴🐈⬛👦
HOA might now even let him do what he wants with outside plants either! I just thought of that.

David, HOA's are not a joke. THERE ARE REGULATIONS TO ABIDE BY, PERIOD. What and how you want to live calls for buying land of your own in a non residential community where homes are distances away from each other.
You Simply David, cannot live in heavily populated quiet areas and live a semi boisterous life. You will bring MORE TROUBLE UPON YOURSELF THAN YOU BARGAIN FOR. You will have to get very serious for how you will shape your life the exact way you want it going forward. There are sacrifices you'll find you'll have to make to reach your personal lofty goals. If you want more David you will have to work more towards that and you will find, sacrifice more to reach your goals. Take care now.
I live where there is an HOA, I have 120 orchids plus philodendrons and other house plants. I've had no issue at all. In fact my neighbors love to ask me about my orchids and plants. They love to see them in the windows. It is important to follow the rules but.....as long as the plants are cared for and the home is clean I don't see why there would be a problem with tons of them. Everyone is very friendly where I live or they just mind there own business. We have a small outdoor pool, community garden and social get togethers. Some HOAs can be absolutely horrible and controlling Others can be quite nice and welcoming.

I propagated my manjula,marble queen, golden pothos, neon, cebu blue and I’m going to make a Frankenstein pot of pothos. Still haven’t found a Jessina pothos. Doing plant chores along with you.

David, please take advice from other's making comments about the HOA's... DON'T BUY a HOUSE with an HOA... Trust me you don't want one....they tell you what you can and can't do for the life of you owning that house....BUY an older home with some property... They are better built and you will never regret not having an HOA... I've owned 3 homes and I'm 51... I have had one home with an HOA and I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN buy a house with an HOA. Also I used to be a Purchasing Manager for a Home Builder and I know from 1st hand experience that newer homes are slapped together in 90 day's using the lowest bid using the cheapest materials....think about that....they cut corners everywhere they can and the houses nowadays aren't built as well as Homes that are at least 30 year's or older. probably a dumb question but do you wet the moss?
I saturate it and squeeze out any excess water. So the moss is moist to help the cuttings root. 💚
Bought that expert potting soil at Walmart yesterday in Seguin. They said it was a rollback. 2 cu for $9.97
You definitely don't want to move to an HOA situation if you are like me and your plants suffer in the winter from lack of light and look like crap when you put them outside in spring. I never understood the appeal of those neighborhoods anyway. If you are lucky you might have 5 feet of yard around the house, maybe 10 ft. in between the houses, and they all look the same, You have the inflated mortgage and HOA fees and actually less freedom than living in some apartments. HOAs are definitely not worth it. Some comedians even make jokes about all the problems with them.

True, but if she didn’t have the mentality that she has right now my family, mom, nor I would be here. I respect her and beyond grateful for her. She can sometimes come out like that or even harsh but I understand why. 💚✨
