Bestdressed is still active on her Instagram stories. I think she is living her best life, getting invited to designer brand events and modeling without the nitpicking.
unfortunately she still gets nitpicked, a good chunk of people are pissed she went from doing videos about affordable fashion and whatever else to going to those designer events
I remember in Best Dressed's last apartment tour video she talked about how a man showed up with a knife at her window in NYC and how she is probably never going to post as openly again.
didnt she also say he showed up with toilet paper because she vented on socials that she ran out of toilet paper during COVID? thats so fuckign creepy... the knife is actual INSANE
The stalker didnt show up with a knife, she herself (Ashley) opened her last vlog carrying a knife. And then talked about the stalking and how police couldn’t really do anything about it as the stalker had not acted on anything per se. if the stalker had shown up with a knife they def would’ve been held criminally liable.
@myahdestefans7921 the stalker showed up with toilet paper only. But ashley did speak/joke about carrying a knife around her apartment. Also the reason why she moved out of that space
wanted to mention that Joanna was going through topical steroid withdrawal specifically which happened because of her consistent use of steroid creams to treat her eczema and her body beginning to reject it and have extreme side effects so bad that she had to drop out of college and could barely move and was on a extremely restrictive diet to try and stop flair ups
I think about her from time to time and hope that she's just doing well... like I know that she's a stranger but...I just felt so bad seeing the suffering that she's going through...
This sounds like absolute hell. I understand it all too well because of my own condition but when people have the tenacity to actually plan and film this process they go through... and people still seem to not get how chronic illness is after seeing it. It's the true nature of what humans have become coming out right there. 😢
It seems to me like it's not often mentioned that Jenna, too, was ready to retire. As a weekly watcher, I remember her mentioning how tired she was, yes it was funny how she went for a nap for a subscriber milestone, but I think she was just tired of performing in general. So when she was faced with the ghosts of her channel's past, perhaps she lost the will to continue filming for legacy's sake.
@@lividsunshine8968I never blamed the black women I blamed the white women white knighting while all the black women wondered who asked them to do literally anything of the sort. Yes! I used to watch her videos religiously to where watching the newest upload would be the first thing I did in the morning. Especially from early 2020 she seemed weary, and then the start of the pandemic I felt she had almost like survivor's guilt that she felt she wasn't adding enough to the good of the world with silly videos but was so successful while so many other people were in crisis. And a guilt that some of her past content was harmful. Aside from what she talked about in her last video, she'd said before in other retrospectives that looking back she didn't like other stuff she'd said or did in the past like the girls are like this guys are like that type of content or anything that could make someone feel excluded. The idea of having hurt people with her videos weighed on her. People pushing the narrative that she was cancelled was such an insult to her integrity and intelligence, and ignoring that she was in a mental health crisis. If she at that time wanted to keep making videos, she could have, but that period of her life and career is just over.
When I go back and watch some of her last videos she released, you can tell she was over it. Still holding out hope that one day she will just make a return and post another silly video one day even if it’s 10 years from now. But either way, wishing her and Julien and the doggos all the best.
I also remember right around the time that Ashley disappeared she mentioned in her moving out video that she had to move because a stalker had found her address which I think also was a contributing factor to why she left social media.
Yeah, they found her apartment based on the view outside her window. It's so scary but I hope that experience serves as a warning to others on how to protect their privacy and safety as much as they can. Obviously it wasn't her fault, but it can't be overstated how much people, especially women who live alone, are at risk of the same thing happening.
The way i saw JOANA CEDDIA and i came here RUNNING omfg i remember being so sad when jenna marbles left and then this awesome girl kinda filled that space, and then she also left damn, i hope shes doing great and i respect the fact that even tho she had SO MUCH attention she decided to choose her own private life and thats amazing, missin her a lot tho
I literally went on a spree looking up joana's old stuff today.... but as a normal nobody, I agree that not disclosing things about yourself just makes everything feel more comfy.
I loved Joana! Seeing the footage of her parents on her videos, she seems to have been raised well with a good head on her shoulders so I’m sure she made the best choice for herself and has support
Hannah, on this topic, I think you deserve major props for coming back like you have! not to say that any of these people, yourself included, are obligated to continue giving your audience anything, but to make a commitment to return & then stick to it is seriously impressive. it says a lot about how tough you are.
Absolutely agree! So proud of her for fighting rheoufh some serious tough life moments and hell of mental health and addiction too. Her openness is also very commendable and I know it can help save lives too!
One RUclipsr I LOVED was Texan in Tokyo. She was this girl from Texas who moved to Tokyo for school and fell in love with a Japanese guy there. After three years, they ended their RUclips channel because they wanted to have children and didn’t want to be tempted to post their faces online or violate their privacy in the way that so many family vloggers do, and I IMMENSELY respect that. It was sad to see them end the channel, but they at least did an official announcement, PLUS they put out an update video about a year ago confirming that they were still happily married and had had their kids, so there was a happy ending ✨
Joanna is so interesting to me. Obviously money isn’t everything but it is REALLY tempting. She was on a fast path to crazy social media money and she chose to just not take what was being handed to her. I’m really impressed by that, I don’t think I would’ve given up such a tempting deal
I think she mentioned how she didn't like how big her channel had grown and the amount of people commenting on her, it was never about fame and it wasn't fun anymore. On top of that she just started college which she was really excited for, but she had to drop out almost immediately because she was in excruciating pain and discomfort due to bad medication withdrawal. I understand why she decided to delete it all, I just hope she's alright now
I think the logic "I have to go to work when I feel like shit, therefore so should you" makes sense from an emotional place, but it does also remind me of generations that say "Well I had to pay for college/pull myself up by my bootstraps, so why should you get a break?" When the reality is "these should not be the circumstances for anyone."
Yeah but its not gonna kill anyone. And it does actually make you a stronger person. Now days everyone just wants everything handed to them or thinks their emotions or how they're "feeling" should dictate their life. Look where thats gotten us. 😂
@@h33-q8w ah yes, because no one ever has ever died as a result of pushing themselves to work when they're not up to it. Ffs take Smokey's advice and be more kind
@@h33-q8wyour ancestors didn't have electricity or the electronic device you're typing on social media with right now. If you truly followed your philosophy you wouldn't have even commented and live off grid because people did that back in the good old days
The problem is that there is hard work that needs to be done and someone needs to do it. That’s just the reality of life, and when people don’t have the incentive to work hard they don’t. When you “give breaks” to those who have little work ethic and haven’t earned it by working hard, people get upset because they’re doing the hard work.
Dan Howell posted an interesting video about why he went on hiatus and basically vanished from the internet for a few years (and no, it wasn't because people ship him with Phil) which I liked because it kind of pulls back the curtain of RUclips. Dan and Phil brought back their joint gaming channel last year and are on tour this year, but Dan still doesn't make videos on his own anymore due to his perfectionism and the stress of it all. They're kind of the poster children for parasocial relationships - I would actually love an entire history of them if that was ever something you're interested in!
I remember hearing the announcement of the Dolan twins leaving the internet. I didn't really follow their content, I was a bit older than that demographic, but I always got the vibe that they were uncomfortable with how s*xualized they became. I felt like I could SEE the toll that fame took on them. Everytime I saw them they just looked...unhappy. And especially after their father passed away. Didn't know one of them got married! Good for them. They both deserve peace.
Best Dressed did post a few TikTok under a different name recently. A stalker scared her, along where she did the video where she “showed” how many takes it took to deliver a line, and response was super duper negative. I think her artistic ability got to her & she overthinked herself into needing a break. I loved her, she was such a source of inspiration in so many ways, I hope she is finding her peace.
Um, I think this tiktok was just random acount posting a clip of one of her vlogs where she really did show these things. It's quite an old vlog too, from when she lived in LA I think
i think one example that isn’t discussed enough is just the idea that people get new jobs. in the real world it’s very unusual for people to stay in the same job for 10+ years, people naturally grow and develop which leads to new opportunities. simply nailogical was a great example of that. in her leaving youtube vid, yes she did discuss mental health/personal issues that impacted her decision, but she also talked about how much she loved creating holo taco and live streaming more than making long form content. she ultimately quit because she got a new job and new passions and it was time for her to move on.
When i saw the title, i also thought of d’angelo wallace and primink, who both left for a while. I find your insight to be so interesting! I think that youtube and people are moving towards very specific niches and content, so there’s no central “popular” group of creators. It may help because the volume of people would mean less* pressure on a person to post.
u left ur channel right around the time when I had to relocate to a different state to go to a residential eating disorder program in high school. now I'm in college and it's so awesome to me that both of us r doing much better than we were back then! :') sending lots of love 💕
I always thought that Ashley had some sort of mental health issues or neurodivergence bc she talked about her difficulties managing her time, procrastinating to the point of having to do multiple all nighters a week, getting periods like every two weeks, etc. Especially in her last few videos she made more and more references to her depression and anxiety issues. Not to mention, she also had a stalker that must have really scared her, and people online doxxed her and her entire family. No wonder she left the internet. I sincerely hope she’s doing well now.
Wow, the timing of this video is hilarious! In Brazil there's been a lot of buzz around Jout Jout lately, she's a former RUclipsr who took a break from making videos and kind of disappeared from the platform. Her content used to be super relatable and introspective, but now she’s living in a house without Wi-Fi, in a really small town in the middle of nowhere! It’s wild how she’s choosing to live away from the typical digital life.
I used to do book reviews on RUclips. I finally put it to the side for mental health. I got so in my head about the numbers that I couldn't enjoy myself anymore
Me too. I even got monetized but it just took away the fun of reading and i feel like I had to buy books all the time and read the popular books and read tons of books even if i wasnt in the mood to read. Ive been off this whole year and idk if ill ever go back. I love my privacy and ive fallen back in love with reading.
Yes! I used to as well, but there was always the pressure to read what people wanted you to read, or to make sure you read a good amount each month so you had enough for a wrap up video, and goodness the hauls. I love reading and while it was fun to have a community I could engage with, reading became more of a job than a hobby and I couldn't do it anymore.
its sad but as a woman and chronically online and have see the pattern alot, when I see a woman youtuber stop posting I usually assume its because of a stalker.
I’m not one to usually comment but I’ve been a silent follower since you had around 2k followers, I was at a job I was miserable at and I randomly stumbled across your channel. I’m now at a job I love and still find so much joy watching your content and seeing you glow and grow ❤
I just wanted to add about Joana that for context iirc, her eczema was so bad she had to drop out of her uni program, or at least take time off, which was awful to hear about because education was something she was so passionate about and felt so strongly about pursuing. There was 100% a lot going on behind the scenes there that led to her channel deletion and I honestly can only hope that she's healed since then and has been able to live her life as normally as she can given her condition
I wanted to use this video to express how excited I am that you are back on RUclips! In the past few years I have had a hard time finding commentary channels that talk about topics in the way you do. I feel like so many people are trying to fall into the video essay content without ever really adding their own opinions into it and sometimes those videos feel very taxing to sit through. Your content is always so refreshing to me because no matter what im doing in my day I can just pop it on and it's always entertaining and relaxing. Im glad you took time away for the betterment of your health but I am also so elated to see consistent uploads from you again!!!
My husband went through that bc his eczema is so severe and then he needed to drop the steroid cream and didn't realize that could happen. It was horrific. Idk that I could've made it through that.
A lot of people mentioned best dressed being stalked and I think a similar situation also happened to Joanna if I recall. I think all of the youtubers had traumatizing occurrences of stalking and I dont think it can be overstated how terrifying that is. On a much smaller level, I experienced someone stalking me through social media, and it really makes you rethink your internet presence and how much of yourself you give access to complete strangers. I got to the point where I didn't want to post anywhere that was outside or too niche because I was worried they could figure out my location. Ended up just privating everything and removing all followers/friends i didn't know personally. Obviously the other things you mentioned are probably huge factors as well but thought it was an important common denominator of them.
Joanna and Ashley helped me through high school. I would work and study with their videos in the bg. I'm glad they made videos when they did. Ashley is still very active on her insta, and so many of her comments are always "come back to yt." I feel that needs to stop. She has found something she loves. She doesn't owe us anything.
MISS HER SOOO much man :(((((( I hope she’s doing alright, I think the last I heard she had to take time away from school because of how bad her eczema got :(
In this day and age, numbers have become so distorted. What I mean by this is: people think anything less than a million views, followers, etc is failing when if you had over half a million people standing in front of you watching you and saying nice things to you, you wouldn’t think that’s such a small number. Being a social media personality who has a significant following isn’t for the weak
Man, the cozy feeling I've been getting with Smokey doing Glowmas this year. It feels like having your favorite hoodie on, all warm and relaxed in the house while the winter wind blows outside. Maybe you're watching a bit of snowfall as you sit by the window with a hot drink and a good book. Um, whoops, I got a little too into my own made-up story there and my imagination is running away. Reel it in Chris...
I get quite depressed during the Christmas season (and all year around, lets be honest, but a little extra) and Glowmas always cheers me up, especially being a December baby get a birthday glowmas vid!
Ashley has been very consistent on Instagram! She's been partnering with so many brands, modeling, going to different fashion shows, and she even directed a couple ads for these brands. I miss her on RUclips but it seems she's enjoying her life and getting to do a lot of what she loves and I'm so happy for her ❤
I’ve been watching your videos since before your Midas collab and I’ve also been through hell and back in that time. Watching Glowmas again has been oddly healing in some way. I wanted to let you know your hard work is seen and appreciated more than you know.
Ashley (bestdressed) is living her best life working with designer brands and has created content for them. She got a lot of hate when she posted a collab with Amazon which is so crazy considering how many people have storefronts now and make a living off that alone. She was very open about her life which was so refreshing, but of course there’s trolls that make it their mission to try to bring her down. She also had an incident with a stalker, can’t imagine how scary that was. I think that alone would cause me to stop posting tbh and it was her last video where she mentioned it so totally understandable. As much as I miss her, I’m glad she didn’t take her videos down bc I still go back and watch. I too would selfishly love her to come back, but i’m just happy she’s happy.
Ashley is still active on Instagram (though not as much as most influencers are these days). I believe she is a model and works a lot with designer brands. While I do miss her on RUclips I'm glad she's thriving and living her best life.
For youtubers who disappeared and then came back, I always think of Dan Howell, who has disappeared and come back multiple times over the years. Vanished, came back with an amasing coming out video almost an hour long talking about how growing up queer was for him, and how the internet and his fanbase being way too nosy and invasive about his sexuality and relationship with his best friend and fellow youtuber AmazingPhil brought back trauma from his school years. Disappeared AGAIN and came back with a one and a half hour video talking about why he quit youtube and how the site screwed him over for a dream project of his. Announced a solo comedy tour that I've only heard good things about, made a series meant to figure out how to post on youtube without tanking his mental health that he himself has described as being 'too niche'. He's back now on DanAndPhilGames, a channel that was once just for games and is now basically a joint channel between Dan and Phil, and he seems so much happier now, it's honestly a joy to see. Both of them are appear comfortable in their sexuality and their own skin, and seems to be content with their fanbase now (while taking some well deserved potshots in good humor, as is their right cause holy hell).
Some of my favorite RUclips people left for personal reasons. I wish them well. It was sad to hear their issues but I was glad they were doing the right thing for themselves.
Thanks for posting this Smokey, I saw that you were popping back up in my feed recently and I've been watching your videos... wondered "Hey did the algorithm screw Smokey's channel?" Glad you're back, your topics are always interesting
I’m so happy that you decided to come back! You’ve always been one of my favorite channels in terms of content and subjects that you cover and your style hits it out of the park! I love putting on your videos just throughout the day because it feels like I’m on FaceTime with a friend, keep glowing!
As a “small” youtuber with no fellow youtuber friends, i cannot thank you enough for making this video. I have felt the pressure of youtube at times and i have a microscopic community compared to what bestdressed had - i can only imagine the pressure she dealt with. It’s hard bc I want to grow my channel but…I also don’t? 😅
16:30 Its so interesting hearing you say that about another youtuber because that's how I felt when you were gone. I always wanted to ask when the next video was but reminded myself that if you weren't posting, it was for a reason and it wasn't my business but omg was I missing your content! Lol
I love having a video or show on while I'm working when I can (I'm a hairstylist) and my freaking client and I were JUST talking about how we love Smokey glow 😭 I should have had notifs on so we could watch together LOL
Anyone wondering if there will be a SmokeyGlow commentary on RawBeautyKristi? Last time I checked public opinion did a 180 on her once she started raising her child
Yes…. I feel like ppl outside of TikTok don’t know about the “situation”. I know someone ho had any idea she had some backlash because she was a RUclips & insta only person. Sine Kristi never really addressed any of it, many have no idea
@@emekennede I also didn't know anything about it because I don't use tiktok, but honestly... When I heard about it I just didn't care. Like who even talks about her anymore? If she wants to be a conservative trad wife and spend all her life slaving away to please a man and her religious cultists, so be it. It's a shame for the kids though, but that's just the birth lottery I guess.
Not so much since raising her child, because she was/is doing the best she can given her mental health struggles, but definitely since she decided to get involved in the 'interesting' Christian co-op daycare her sister is involved in and her growing immersion into the "crunchie" lifestyle. If she hadn't done a video against MLMs, I'd bet $ she would become a Christian MLMer selling "all natural" makeup and skincare crap. Thankfully she's headed to only being 1/2 as bad as that type of person. I'm not opposed to crunchie, but when it's imposed on others as a better option than- say, conventional medicine, is where I have a problem. Also her not addressing her friendship/follow with James Charles and acting like she had no idea about bye sister despite there being info that she was aware and concerned about public outlash.
Anyone know what happened to the chappell roan video? It got taken down right after I started watching it, so I dont know if hannah took it down or if it got copyright blocked
I loved Joana’s content so much! I really miss it and I hope to see it again. Then again, I hope she is doing good because she seemed to be such a good kid. I missed your content when you were not posting, and I am happy you decided to come back!
This is a such an interesting concept to me. I’m a millennial - been on RUclips for years and I have seen many successful people come and go. Some blow my mind, like Jenna Marbles. Others make sense. Good long-form content idea to dive deeper.
This was such a great video! I didn't even remember Joana until I saw her on the thumbnail and realized that she just vanished off the platform. I didn't know she suffered from excema and I also have it so I relate. I hope she's doing well, wherever she is 😤❤️
Some details missing. Best dressed got into some major heat for talking about sustainable fashion and then did a deal with Amazon. Dolan Twins changed up their content so much towards the end of their run and one instance they put up a video where they confronted their friend and roommate and that was big turning point cause they didn’t want to make drama content. Joanna’s big turning point was the fact that not only did she have a skin condition but she was withdrawing from topical steroids that helped her skin which is why it got so bad before she left the internet. Let me know if I’m missing anything else.
The fact that best.dressed never disappeared and is very active on her Instagram. She works with a lot of high end fashion brands and even models now. She’s still very successful. I love her content
Oooo sooo happy to be soo early for once. It’s been a rough while& the glowmas videos have really helped as this holiday season has been the worse in many years.
I think there is an unfortunate side to the internet wherein people feel entitled to each other. They feel entitled to know the details of every celebrity marriage, what type of car a RUclipsr drives, what sort of school some bloggers kid goes to. People are encouraged to overshare and give too much of themselves when truthfully we should be knowing like 97% less about these people. Even in the most microniche circles I've seen a really concerning trend of turning real people into an *idea* more than a person and when you stop seeing those around you as actual people it fosters toxic and sometimes dangerous behavior.
The way I try to look at RUclipsr hate in general is ‘imagine if at your worst day at work, thousands of people pointed it out and put a spotlight on it’. Now granted, some RUclipsr hate IS warranted. But in these cases, the hate that lead them to disappearing (if that’s the main cause) is so sad. We often forget that these people are still human.
I used to watch you when i was almost out of high school and now my uni is almost done and i still get so excited when i see you've uploaded. Your videos just a staple in my life at this point❤
Jenna Marbles leaving youtube really was a piece of my childhood heart being ripped out. I’m glad for her tho that she left on her terms and didn’t let some ill intentionned people change her narrative
My dad died from Covid in 2021 but I can understand people enjoying the chance to stay home and find themselves. I went through some stuff during lockdown too. My dad didn't pass until after lockdown was lifted and our lives went back to 'mostly' normal so her video wouldn't have bothered me then. But she didn't have that experience so she's allowed to feel her life was the way it was. Nothing I can do to change what happened to me.
thank you so much for glowmas this year!🙏🏼 obviously you don‘t owe us anything, but I‘m so happy you‘re posting again, the glowmas videos have literally helped me get through this week. thanks for that❤️ greetings from Switzerland!
People change jobs sometimes. You don’t owe it to anyone to keep doing the thing you decided to do when you were young for the rest of your life. Sometimes you want to leave gracefully before you’re forced out.
Hi Hannah I am so happy to see you back and looking like your enjoying creating content again.. but I m also glad you took the time you needed too.. wishing you a happy holidays from the UK ❤
Man this is so timely, a kpop reactor I really like just deleted her channel because it was impacting her mental health so badly. I wish her all the best and it’s great that she’s taking care of herself! It’s just a little sad that negativity took another person off the platform
I had a lovely lady I watched who was part of the decluttering community - she had a hotel or batches (some form of accommodation she and her family were working as a job) somewhere where it snowed in the winter - I adored her. Of course there is the natural consequence of having a decluttering channel - eventually you declutter everything and then you need to ask friends or family if they'll let you declutter their places on camera - but this lady started posting less regularly and started to enjoy the benefits of her decluttering - of having more time to spend as she wished rather than being a constant caretaker of her overwhelming amount of stuff - being able to clean more quickly and - basically - she let us know she didn't want to grow a channel - she wanted to spend time enjoying what decluttering had given her the opportunity to do - revel in her growing family and very much enjoy her life. I always wish her the best when she pops up in my mind. I respect making the decision and deciding which was more important for her - that's integrity and strength I think.
Your eyeshadow is perfect with your sweatshirt! Love it!! D’Angelo reminds me a little of you. He left for like a year? Or more…not sure. Came back and posts a lot or a little, whatever works. I think all of you should post only when you want to. It’s YOUR channel. 😊

I was literally just thinking of her the other day and wanted to look up her videos, but I couldn’t remember her name
Hannah, on this topic, I think you deserve major props for coming back like you have! not to say that any of these people, yourself included, are obligated to continue giving your audience anything, but to make a commitment to return & then stick to it is seriously impressive. it says a lot about how tough you are.
I’m so happy she’s back!! And we’re being FED
completely agree
I totally agree
Omg I loved texan in tokyo
Joanna is so interesting to me. Obviously money isn’t everything but it is REALLY tempting. She was on a fast path to crazy social media money and she chose to just not take what was being handed to her. I’m really impressed by that, I don’t think I would’ve given up such a tempting deal
she was also dealing with Steroid Withdrawal because of the medication she was on to treat her Eczema. I think that was a more contributing factor.
I understand why she decided to delete it all, I just hope she's alright now
@@xoluciaxo_3721 she briefly dropped out of uni, and idk if she ever went back. She definitely left due to health reasons and I hope shes doing well
I think the logic "I have to go to work when I feel like shit, therefore so should you" makes sense from an emotional place, but it does also remind me of generations that say "Well I had to pay for college/pull myself up by my bootstraps, so why should you get a break?" When the reality is "these should not be the circumstances for anyone."
Yeah but its not gonna kill anyone. And it does actually make you a stronger person. Now days everyone just wants everything handed to them or thinks their emotions or how they're "feeling" should dictate their life. Look where thats gotten us. 😂
@h33-q8w It made you unable to properly write! 😅 Another person failing at grammar while saying others don't want to put in effort.
Yes I would love a History of Dan and Phil! Their fandom and relationship to the phans is so fascinating to me.
Glowmas has been really amazing this year!! Happy to see you bring it back and better than ever
What was the tiktok?
wait omg whats the new tiktok?
Primink came back & I hope he has a positive time this time. I watch very few men, and he always made me laugh.
u left ur channel right around the time when I had to relocate to a different state to go to a residential eating disorder program in high school. now I'm in college and it's so awesome to me that both of us r doing much better than we were back then! :') sending lots of love 💕
Happy to hear that you are better ☺️ and it so nice to see all of Hannah's supporters also catching her up on what we have been up to
@ thank you! 😊😊
Glow I’ve missed you! I just finished my last week of classes as a psychology undergraduate student ☺️ I’ve watched you since high school💕
Congratulations!!
Woohoo!!!
@@nicoleisstillhere thank youuuu
congratulations!! ❤
Just finished my last week of my history undergrad! Congrats to you!!
So glad you've returned. Absolutely loving all the content, so nice to see you happy and healthy!
I sincerely hope she’s doing well now.
whoah her family too :( that’s genuinely so evil - I hope she’s doing better & has a restraining order!
She’s a successful model now lol
Not everyone is neurodivergent. She just doesnt have work ethic.
It’s wild how she’s choosing to live away from the typical digital life.
brasileiros se encontrando até na Smokey glow
@@biatheway3342 kkkkk a gente nao se aguenta
I used to do book reviews on RUclips. I finally put it to the side for mental health. I got so in my head about the numbers that I couldn't enjoy myself anymore
thats so sad
i hope you get that motivation again!
I love reading and while it was fun to have a community I could engage with, reading became more of a job than a hobby and I couldn't do it anymore.
if I'm not mistaken best dressed also posted about having had a stalker, I think that played a huge part on her disappearence as well
its sad but as a woman and chronically online and have see the pattern alot, when I see a woman youtuber stop posting I usually assume its because of a stalker.
I follow her Instagram. Love her discreet life!
She didn’t really disappear though. She posts on Instagram all the time
Joana loved her Chanel. Felt so bad for her her medical journey obviously really affected her , but hope she’s well
I’m not one to usually comment but I’ve been a silent follower since you had around 2k followers, I was at a job I was miserable at and I randomly stumbled across your channel.
Joanna was struggling with steroid withdrawal, which is well known to be hell.
She doesn't owe us anything.
i saw joanna in the thumbnail and instantly clicked, i miss her so muchhh
MISS HER SOOO much man :(((((( I hope she’s doing alright, I think the last I heard she had to take time away from school because of how bad her eczema got :(
It wasn’t her eczema that got bad, it was steroid withdrawal
@@kellyfinley4419 yes i know, i even made a comment about it lol
Hey, I hope you have as good of a time as possible this year :-)
A little less shit, is still a little less shit! 👏🏽
Ashley has been very consistent on Instagram! She's been partnering with so many brands, modeling, going to different fashion shows, and she even directed a couple ads for these brands. I miss her on RUclips but it seems she's enjoying her life and getting to do a lot of what she loves and I'm so happy for her ❤
I miss Jenna Marbles every day. 💔
Me too. I have dreams about her often. Her living her best life with the dogs, put and about being free
Thank you so much for these videos! They’ve been a treat at the end of some wild teaching days, the December scaries hit EARLY this year 😂
Ashley is still active on Instagram (though not as much as most influencers are these days).
I’m so happy you aren’t on this list of RUclipsrs that don’t post. So so happy you are posting ❤
So glad you’re back and LOVING Glowmas

Its so interesting hearing you say that about another youtuber because that's how I felt when you were gone. I always wanted to ask when the next video was but reminded myself that if you weren't posting, it was for a reason and it wasn't my business but omg was I missing your content! Lol
Usual silent subscriber. I love your content and glowmast SO MUCH. From a fellow SW 🩷🩷🩷
You have some of the most unique content and bring up interesting points in every video.. I feel. Glad to have you back 🖤🖤🖤
ive been binging old classic smokeyglow content i'm so happy for all the uploads lately☺️☺️
I love having a video or show on while I'm working when I can (I'm a hairstylist) and my freaking client and I were JUST talking about how we love Smokey glow 😭 I should have had notifs on so we could watch together LOL
Two people I miss are Stephanie Nichole and Jenna Marbles.
I watched every one of their videos.
I hope they are both doing okay.
I love how much you’re posting this is literally a dream come true i’m so glad you’re back you have no idea
You're absolutely killing it this Glowmas season 🌟🥰
Trolling someone's parent's funeral is so disgusting and heartless
Anyone wondering if there will be a SmokeyGlow commentary on RawBeautyKristi? Last time I checked public opinion did a 180 on her once she started raising her child
it's less since she started raising her kid, and more since she started homeschooling him using a very conservative christian program
Crossing my fingers Hannah covers this now that she has blessed us with her presence again ❤
I literally squealed when I saw the glowmas intro! Glowmas has such a comforting vibe for me and I’m so grateful you’re bringing it back ❤
Anyone know what happened to the chappell roan video? It got taken down right after I started watching it, so I dont know if hannah took it down or if it got copyright blocked
Idk, i was saving it to watch w/ my dinner last night and it was gone ;;; been wondering the same
I’ve been wondering too. I watched about half and she pronounced “Roan” wrong so I wonder if she got hate from that and that’s why she took it down?
I’m living for this glomas! And this video is lovely!! 🥰
I loved Joana’s content so much! I really miss it and I hope to see it again. Then again, I hope she is doing good because she seemed to be such a good kid.
I missed your content when you were not posting, and I am happy you decided to come back!
Love getting your perspective on this! and so happy you're back and ✨️ glowing ✨️
I am loving you being back
Just want to say I'm so proud of you for sticking with Glowmas this far!! It's so appreciated xx
Sailor J. I think about "If the men find out we can shapeshift, they're going to tell the church" at least once a week.
Oooo sooo happy to be soo early for once. It’s been a rough while& the glowmas videos have really helped as this holiday season has been the worse in many years.
Loving this glowmas!! Thanks for posting :)
i really missed you and your authenticity. this glowmas is seriously a treat!! you're the only reason i come on youtube sometimes now
I think there is an unfortunate side to the internet wherein people feel entitled to each other.
I miss her so much. I never unscribed just in case. But I agree I'm glad she's happy

I miss Stephanie Nicole sooo much. She was my absolute favorite creator of all time in the beauty space. I hope she’s happy and doing well.
I’m so happy you’re back 😊 and what a way to come back! With a glowmas!

Hi Hannah I am so happy to see you back and looking like your enjoying creating content again.. but I m also glad you took the time you needed too.. wishing you a happy holidays from the UK ❤
I could listen to her talk all day. She is so underrated!!!
We are being sooo spoiled ughhh I love this so so much
Man this is so timely, a kpop reactor I really like just deleted her channel because it was impacting her mental health so badly. I wish her all the best and it’s great that she’s taking care of herself! It’s just a little sad that negativity took another person off the platform
Great, nuanced takes! Subscribed. All of this makes me glad I'm not a full-time content creator lol.
I respect making the decision and deciding which was more important for her - that's integrity and strength I think.
what happened to the chappel roan vid? just wondering, no pressure or anything girl love you
Your videos are my favorite part of this month, aside from my bday! 😂 So glad you're back! Merry Glowmas!
Happy bday 🎉
@abbymyers5072 THANK YOU 😊
Your eyeshadow is perfect with your sweatshirt! Love it!!
D’Angelo reminds me a little of you. He left for like a year? Or more…not sure. Came back and posts a lot or a little, whatever works. I think all of you should post only when you want to. It’s YOUR channel. 😊
I’m just glad you didn’t have to do this video on yourself. It’s been a joy to have your videos pop up so often lately! ❤
