Ran a 28 this week, very very impressed, and I am not easily impressed on new boats lately. But the Axopar impressed me

I felt the same way after my first Axopar ride. Thanks for the comment.

If this company could start a real production line and offer boats within, say, 30 days, their sales would go through the roof. Axopar is so far ahead of the pack. Modern yet based on practical experience. Comfortable yet practical for family and friends with easy to handle. Easily trailerable for off season use...park it in the back yard for the kids playhouse! GlennFHoward

My dream boat! Working very hard to save the money to buy it. One day she will be mine!

I checked 49 knots is about 56 mph. Seems like a fast speed for a 37 ft. Boat with 600 hp.. i really like how this runs.

I like the look of the forward leaning front windscreen - is there a practical reason for that design?

Thank you for asking, and the answer is yes, there are a couple practical reasons for the forward leaning windshield. First is for night vision, because the windshield leans forward, the light behind you reflects upward and away from your eyes. This is why many military and commercial boats have it. The second benefit is you have less solar gain in the cabin so it can stay cooler in the summer heat.

I could be mistaken but she seems a little over-propped or maybe you didn't trim out enough.

Thank you for the observation. You may have noticed that for the purchase of this video I left the engine trim all the way down. I could have trimmed the engines up to get a little more speed and rpm.

Does it have a low fuel usage cruising speed? I’m impressed with the power but go fast is expensive. Really amazing boat and nice review.

The axopar 37 when cruising below 4500rpm is quite fuel efficient. At 4500 with the 350hp will cruise at 34knots and you will burn roughly 26gph. If you slow down to 25 knots you will burn about 19gph. If you do the nm/gal calculation you will notice that at both speeds you are getting 1.3nm/gal so your fuel economy is the same within those speeds. Naturally, load and sea state do affect the fuel economy, but I typically calculate fuel burn for long runs at 1.3nm/gal.

What's the difference between Axopar and XO boats?

Great question but a complete answer requires a long explanation. Feel free to email me at Ben@ecys.com.
