Can we get a review of Open Source AI platforms? I'm concerned about building anything on yet another companies platform only to have the projects throttled, blocked, censored, de-platformed, etc. I'm sure many people share these concerns.
Great comparison Corbin. Have to say that GPT4 is the one and only. The others do not all have the functionality and power and are just too basic. I have tried them all. Perplexity is great though for research and has collections - similar to custom GPTS. Getting into Perplexity. You should've added that to the list.
QPM in the gemini "coming soon" is still limited, we just don't know what it means "starts at 60qpm", also, the price is per character in gemini, not per token, so it's pretty hefty
What is a great way to price out your GPT agents for clients that you are building custom GPT's for? Is it best to deploy it from your teams OpenAI acct?
Dude. Gemini API is priced with CHARACTERS and the OpenAI for TOKENS. A token is about 4 characters. If you do the math they're priced the same. But wild, I see $ 0.000125 for Pro which is half than what's on the screen.

How many Open Source AI platforms are there?

I will definitely need to make an updated version of this video in the future as we get more AI providers!

It is 17seconds, at the question I respond OpenAI + Self Hosted Open models to reduce costs 😂 Lets watch the video now ;)
i'm 5 min in, but my first thought was Claude + local. (the not using your data for retraining and for who knows what else is a big one for me)

That is certainly a great spot.
It’s mathssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
hello could you give me examples of use, use cases, so that I can understand what I can do using certain APIs in custom GPT
Updated video would be highly appreciated, as we have newer models from these providers.
did he just compare token pricing with character pricing???
"Therefore, a big question we must ask ourselves is which AI provider are we going to start leveraging in our software?"
