Hi I'd like to correct an error you made regarding vertex AI being cheaper. Vertex AI charges per character in and out not tokens, ai studio however does it based on a token in token out. So your numbers are 4x lower than what will incur at the very least. And also for languages other than English the characters aren't what they look like. For example in telugu or hindi a same line as English would incur 3-6 times the cost either calculated via token or via character because the utf-8 encoding holds more characters per actual words in these scripts.
@@srinathpulaverthi853 thanks for pointing it out, I have already updated the video description to highlight that was wrong. But I did actually normalize the price before, AI Studio just lowered the price recently.
Hi Victor, nice video. I have a question. I want to create a CompanyGPT. My company documents are in Google Drive. These are marketing documents, human resources, clients information, contracts, financial reports, ... For marketing, i want the CompanyGPT to create social media posts based on the available information and in our own tone of voice. For HR it's an assistant for the employees. Not all employees have the right to consult all documents. What would you suggest? Google AI Studio or Vertex AI? I guess gemini advanced is more for single users. Thanks, i hope you can help me.
Also I have an AI assistant I want to launch in the cloud. It’s either going to be using Anthropic models or Google maybe both. Would you use Google cloud or AWS and why? It’s compliance related the assistant.
@@fearhand Google Cloud would give you seamless access to both Gemini models and Claude models. I also think (and most people agree) that the dev experience is better on Google Cloud. But up to you!
I just plain don't get it, maybe I am misunderstanding with fine-tuning means, maybe I don't even need this for my case usage... in the end I have one folder on my desktop with a measly 1.4 GB of markdown files that are totaling over 3 million words in research, that I want google pro 1.5 to represent as a mouthpiece. I guess the quickest way to explain it would be, master levels of needle in a haystack representation, I want it to be able to take all the files into macro context per each question, and give me a higher order perspective between the files that only artificial intelligence could possibly keep a wrangle of, comprehend? How on earth can I achieve this please!? Thank you.🙏
ive only done this with audio files, but ive just batch uploaded the files, oops firstly i set the models instructions, and it works? Im newer so maybe im missing something but yea
thanks for the summary. Very helpful!
Very good explanation, so clear. 👍

Can you make a video of how to deploy the different models available on vertex and how to get the api and url to integrate into vs code extensions

@@lemento I think Vertex AI makes more sense for you. A bit of a learning curve though, but look into Agent Builder
