Lockers do wonders, If you're gonna have 2 wheel drive don't leave home without a locker if you don't have 4 wheel drive.
I see you’re in VA. I too drive a 2wd taco w/ locking diff, if ever you want an off road buddy let me know.
another tip is to deflate the tires to 10 15 psi.

Secondly, that’s not to put you down but secondly, to the more obvious things yes you’re right road tires do not work when you go off road specially, not when you’re in a muddy area rocks yeah, the work on Rockside solid materials you need more of an all-terrain tire to mud tire secondly That truck will crawl through all kinds of stuff. I’ve done it with mine and I added the real differential locker on mine so it ain’t the truck it’s the operator of the truck and I have a bigger question. Why the hell would you buy a brand new 4 x 4, do not ever use it to go off road until I guess you feel like you’ve gotten your moneys worth out of it. Driving out on the street, that’s why it says 4 x 4 so you can go places where most people can’t and by the way I know the big rims for the center tires look cool but they do absolutely nothing for the use of Billy of the truck and jacking it up or having a jacked up real high completely changes the specs and how the truck reacts leave your truck like it is add maybe some beer tires and some proper tires for what you doing stop molesting your vehicles that’s all I can say
