1:24:43 assault cannon has devastating wounds, if im not mistaken. So that would be a mortal wound But I think its about to die in the combat phase, hopefully doesn’t survive on 1 wound… Update- it didn’t even lose a wound xD

Winters, my good man! At 1:03 you mention that, with only having 2 CP, spending one to reroll the save on the Haruspex meant that you couldn't interrupt for teh Hive Tyrant ... but you forgot that the Hive Tyrant gives you a free Stratagem in each turn! So you could have, in fact, interrupted with him (for free!) and laid into those nastynasty Terminators. It was a noble death, but the next time, don't forgot the special rules... your Hive Tyrants are icons for a reason! (Now to watch the rest of teh report. So tense!)
I have 3 small armies that have been built around narrative concepts and also the rule of cool. If i go against a competitive player i would imagine that they would table me by turn two. When i want a game i will only play people with the same mindset. If i loose that is fine. I prefer fun game not a meta kill game. Love this channel as you have they same mind set as me
I thought you could consolidate as long as it's towards the objective even if you're within objective range? Awesome game btw! Your channel helps A LOT with learning 10th ed rules for those of us who don't have easy access to games.
Yes, you can consolidate closer to an objective even if you're already in range of it. But you have to consolidate towards an enemy unit if it's possible to end in engagement range, you can only move towards an objective if there are no enemy units close enough. So he could have consolidated with the genestealers, but would have had to engage the drop pod and not just move to the objective.

I've gotta get myself one these Haruspex' - and I'm a space wolves player! 😂 Joking aside, this battlereport is a good showcase of thing you can play with in tenth. I can feel it being less deadly as intended (which I like), especially with tanks/monsters. And that I probably shouldn't try to punch those in melee. That being said, I'm very tempted to get a big squad of assault interesseccors with a character. The flurry of blows does add up.

Rapid Regeneration can only be used in your opponents shooting or fight phase, so you can't use it against overwatch fire. Seems a bit silly, but that's how it's currently written.
