Thanks for all the complements everyone. It was a great time, and Aaron is the nicest guy. I almost wish we could have gotten some more behind the scenes shots of all of our in depth conversations. Thanks to this weekend in Atlanta, I was finally able to seek the help that I needed for my depression. It's all thanks to Aaron and all that he does.
Tony Verret, you posted this comment 3 years ago and I hope things have continued to improve for you since then. I rather liked some of the clothes you already had (that fancy suit was hot) but Aaron's style tweaks were first class. You are a pretty cool and funny guy and it was great that you went with the flow, glad to hear the experience was so beneficial for you.
Just to address all the comments about my accent, I'm from southern Louisiana. Despite what you see and hear on TV and movies, this is what we actually sound like down here.
TheDislikeBot I looked at his stuff a little on Google. He seems to have a contemporary minimalist style to his clothing, which is fine, but I typically like to be a little more flashy when I dress up.
Not quite related to this, but I checked out your channel and your pyramid head costume brought smile to my face. Silent Hill 2 is one of my personal faves.
I was just wondering, Tony, you said in the video that you probably aren't going to watch the episode more than twice because you hate looking at yourself. Has that feeling changed after the makeover, and have you watched this more than twice?
You should make this dude your sidekick.. one upbeat almost anoying person with a slow talking slightly depressed dude.. would be like the mythbusters.
+Anthony Verret Stay positive brother. You have brothers and sisters all over the world. Enjoy life, don't let this messed up mainstream way of life to make you lose your artistic soul.
love the fact that he didn't completely change his style but still gave him a more stylish look unlike a lot of makeover shows where the basically change the persons whole style
What I really dig about this was that most "makeovers" completely go against the persons individuality and conforms them. The fact that you took a guy heavy into goth/art culture and kept the style, just cleaned up a bit, made me super happy. I was shocked you didn't tear down his velvet suit, and love that you encouraged that unique flare.
Aaron this is the BEST one yet. Tony looks amazing. Love your take on the Goth look. Cool, chic and mysterious. In fact it is elegant and supremely sophisticated.
alpha m. Hey Alpha, I have just discovered your channel and its great man, thanks for all your advise. I was wondering though, I can't find much, if any, advise on summer fashion or clothing tips for us living in hotter climates. Shorts can be a tough choice for some fellas with their ugly daddy long legs sticking out but it is way to hot where I am from to wear jeans and chinos every day, think you could point me in the right direction? Thanks brother. All the best.
Dude, I just needed to tell you: Your work pieces are awesome and beautiful, the masks hanging on your wall (They appeared on a video behind you) did you make them or did you buy them? I mean, wow! They are also awesome! Do you have any more photos of your art? Could you show them to me? I'mma stop now before I get crazier, I hope that depression is getting better, mate. Have a great day, keep rocking it c:
bloodyhetza Thanks. I made all of the masks on my wall throughout highschool and college. I've always loved making masks. It's kind of my specialty. Sadly, the only place that I have photos of my art is my Facebook page. I'm not cool enough to have a website yet lol.
I've been watching these Alpha M projects here and there and got launched back to this one. I know it's 6 years later but I felt like I really had to drop a comment and express just how moved I am by this episode. Aaron, you took your passion of fashion and clothing and used it in such a unique way of helping others feel better about themselves. Something I haven't really thought about recently that this episode brought to light is that it's not only about the therapists and the talks and the medication that help people out with anxiety and depression (not undercutting anything, don't get me wrong, different situations call for different solutions), but that sometimes, projecting a better image of yourself in the mirror is the first step toward loving yourself, and it's absolutely phenomenal to see what a change of wardrobe can do to uplift someone's mood and set them on the path to improvement. You not only elevated his wardrobe, but also his self esteem and his confidence. If you're reading this right now, I'd like to thank you for helping me see it, as well. Rock on, Aaron. Rock on, Alpha M!
By the time he had modeled his velvet suit in the first part, I really didn't want to see him changed at all. I was nervous that if you messed with him, you'd just dilute (or pollute) his whole nifty "gestalt". But...@11:30- OMFG! Pow!! He was _really_ hot-looking after that! $570 for all those clothes? That's less than one speeding ticket, lol. Best wishes to the upgraded-to-gorgeous Tony for a wonderful, happy 2015. Alpha, I salute you. You really ARE an artist. ツ
Svere Style - Damn! Ya caught me being lazy. I've never gotten a speeding ticket, and have NO idea how much they are, and just ASSumed, from the grousing I've heard about them from others, that they must be a large source of revenue for the state, ergo, expensive. Instead of going out to google it, I just guessed. I _do_ know that right now, $570 will just about get you 1/2 oz. of gold. Does that redeem me? ;-)
I'm thinking normally there would have to be some tailoring done to those clothes, especially the suit, which would run another couple of hundred dollars altogether. That's always been my experience
the man bun looks great dude. usually people do weird annoying experimental stuff with them but you actually had the hair there originally to pull it off
Aaron is on fire this episode, so enthusiastic😀 And Tony, oh my god you are so handsome!!! There is no need to feel bad about yourself. And I hope that everything in your life will be better and better. :)
You know what this guy deserves the world. Alpha You really make people and I only wish that I had the skill set that you have. Amazing man you have my support for life. You stand for all the right ideals.
Also I really enjoy goth style coming from a punk rock background it really hits me deep. One thing I wish more goth style people would do is work out more. A fit body kicks ass in goth wear.
My favorite thing about alpham videos is the comment section. There's absolutely no negativity here. Everyone's here for help and to help each other. I know tony read the comments and I know they boosted his self esteem and confidence and overall changed his life for the better. I'm proud of everyone here. You all are amazing people.
What a great episode! Being an artist, and former goth I really relate to the lack of confidence Tony had at the beginning of the episode. When most people see someone who has a more somber style, there first instinct is to simply change there style completely. Alpha M, you did a great job showing that you can elevate your style while still maintaining an individuals personality. Thank you, Arron, and Tony, you look sharp.
Alpha, I just want you to know you're the best self image and improvement channel on RUclips. Like, by miles, I watch you because you're funny and have a great personality; you also provide a lot of valuable insight. All the relate videos by channels like "real men real style" are just either annoying or douchy or both. Congrats in being the only good styling channel on RUclips.
Few days ago i discovered your Channel , Im so happy , I improve my english watching it , i learned a lot of new words !( i only take a few lessons when i was child, now im 34 but i can understant most of the things you say ) .One year ago i was depressed, Im was not happy with a lot things in my life, but now fortunately I decided to change . Now im so cofidence with me , i work a lot in the gym ( i gained some muscle and ripped my abs) , i get healty food habits , every day i use to read in the library and i help in a disabled people center . Thanks for that great videos!! you are so inspyring guy! , now its time to change my wardrove! salutations for all the viewers ! I`m sorry if there are some mistakes in my writing.
I've watched a few of these transformation episodes, but this is the best one for sure! Tony, you look great! And I think you had a pretty great style before the transformation, which just helped you polish it and take it up a few levels. Amazing outfits! I really hope it helped you build up your confidence and feel better in your own skin. Just remember that you're amazing and one of a kind. Don't let the world destroy that beautiful creative spirit. Be proud that you're different. I always try to remind myself this, and these quotes help: "Don't be afraid of being different. Be afraid of being the same as everyone else." "If you are always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be!" :)
Alpha your channel has improved 10 fold since I first began to watch you in 2012. Your charisma really shines through in these new videos. The camera loves you.
+Clash With RawBarbaric Well, the clothes were a bit under 600$, the shoes probably another 300$ or so. Then it's basically just a shave and a haircut. Before he had great sponsors he had to pick people locally but now he can fly them in for free and get them a place to stay for the weekend. That would probably be pretty expensive too.
@Alpha M, you need your own TV show. I love what you did with Tony, you really respected his personal/original look, then you lifted it all to another level. Your own show, soon.
This guy is awesome aha. I'm also in that dark place of suffering from depression. I lost a very important person in my life and since then it's been quite bad. I hope that you'll find the right help and that you'll feel better soon. We'll make it! :)
seriously, this needs to be on TV. bravo Or the style channel, anything. Aaron works with what style he already had and didn't try changing who he is. he just polished him up a bit. some makeover shows they have this cookie cutter mold they try to make everyone into. amazing. and alpha did all of this without the huge budget and resources other makeover shows have. it just shows how talented Aaron really is, how much he cares and how business savvy he is. he's also very real and charming. come on network TV!
I am trying to get more fashion conscious, and would love to take notes from these videos and use them to help me on my style journey... but being a big guy (about 6'6'' and broad) I have very few choices, and alot of them do not fit my sense of style... I liked what I saw in the parts from JC Penny, do they have larger sizes?
Honestly thank you Alpha for making this episode. I always struggled with my outfits because I’m also Goth and like the edgy look. I really like that first and second outfit
Dude!!! These videos are do great. Apha M is my favorite RUclips channel and its my favorite thing to watch. Alpha M projects really needs to show up on television.
I just started watching this channel and these type of videos a few days ago and this was probably my favorite episode so far. Very cool. Tony's demeanor transformation was just as cool as the style transformation. I'm pretty happy for a guy that I don't even know.
yo tony looks like really chill, interesting, well spoken person, that's rare to find now a days. you definitely should not hate to look at yourself bc i get a sense of confidence with your gothic style.
this dude rocks like a real gentleman. after that haircut, he started looking like some model tbh. I admire your work, Aaron. you're the best!!!! keep going!!!
I'm like a younger skinnier version of Tony! I like the goth subculture and goth music (HIM, The 69 Eyes, Deathstars) and because my style nearly resembles original Tony's wardrobe (dark clothes, skinny jeans, long hair), I thought Aaron would mess up his cool look. But instead, I was left in awe! Both Aaron and Tony really did a great job in updating his style!
Are you kidding me? Sure him and 69 eyes are good. But Bauhaus, the sisters of mercy and the Eden House are the shit. I also like some non gothic but certainly dark bands like U2 nine inch nails and Marilyn Manson etc I also love dark classic music. My style is something similar to Tony’s after the makeover but a bit darker. I also like to wear eccentric shades. Really glad to know that the gothic subculture is not only alive and kicking but also evolving.
after watching many of his videos im still amazed about how he can say so much stuff about cloth and have the kind of reaction when he finds something that looks good etc etc and not sound steriotipically gay, im mean it can be hard to be a fashion dude without seeming a bit "gay" but he pulls it off so freaking good. with "gay" i mean the kind you see in movies working in the cloth shop, im sure everyone knows what i mean, not trying to be offensive in any way.
Love what became of this. Aaron, if you aren't aware, your influence definitely stuck. He's got a great channel started up doin' goth style tips and rockin' it man. Check out Visage and Virtue.
I love everything about this video! the fact aaron didn't try to change tony's style but just update it was refreshing. tony's style was kick ass to begin with but the updated looks took it next level
Anthony is someone i can identify with to some degree, for various reasons. Great job Aaron, accepting such an unconventional challenge. Two really different but equally great personalities, unexpectedly good on-screen chemistry, really fun to watch and thoroughly entertaining. Awesome episode!
I can't believe what you can pull off alpha!!!! That is so awesome, I am so serious about changing the way I look, act, and live because of you it's incredible! This has got to be the best RUclips inspiration for bettering myself. Seriously alpha so cool can't wait to see the rest of your videos!
My style is very Wolverine. Forest colors, grey white and black.. leather jacket.. flannels.. dark plain polos... brown shoes.. and a beautiful old school analog..
If you lifted / dieted you could SLAY PUSSY. Check your hormone levels (testosterone) and maybe consider TRT if you are low.
Do you have a website in regards to your artwork? I love macabre art.
tony veret at 3:23 of the video, that costume on the right there is fucking awesome lol
Look great man
Tony Verret, you posted this comment 3 years ago and I hope things have continued to improve for you since then. I love how Aaron respects his style and tries to up his game rather than change him completely! good job!!!
Couldn’t have said it better
Me too
Exactly
Aaron is such a sweet bloke!! I can't believe how giving and genuine he is!
That is why he is the alpha m
Just to address all the comments about my accent, I'm from southern Louisiana. Despite what you see and hear on TV and movies, this is what we actually sound like down here.
bro you should look into rick owens, i bet you'll love that look. it's a bit on the spendy side but i'm telling you, you'll love it
TheDislikeBot I looked at his stuff a little on Google. He seems to have a contemporary minimalist style to his clothing, which is fine, but I typically like to be a little more flashy when I dress up.
Not quite related to this, but I checked out your channel and your pyramid head costume brought smile to my face. Silent Hill 2 is one of my personal faves.
asn8744 Thanks. I too like that game very much, and I enjoyed making that costume.
I was just wondering, Tony, you said in the video that you probably aren't going to watch the episode more than twice because you hate looking at yourself. Has that feeling changed after the makeover, and have you watched this more than twice?
DAAAAMN he went from "Lend me your soul" to "Lend my your number" well done Aaron and I wish Tony the best of luck
LMFAO
Damn ...lol
🤣
dude has a cool demeanor... not at all like hes depressed
seems like hed be a kickass bassist or something
Wins best comment imo.
Is it just me or does he have a Winter Soldier vibe?
I got a bit of an Elrond vibe, haha.
he started off looking like the bad guy from the green lantern movie, the one who could read minds
I feel bad now, that was harsh and he seems like a really nice guy
+Rice Balls ahahaha dude you won a spot in the hell
Law He really looks like Dracula 1992
You should make this dude your sidekick.. one upbeat almost anoying person with a slow talking slightly depressed dude.. would be like the mythbusters.
+Ailasor Thinking about this it also reminds me of Jay and Silent Bob
I see it too. They have a chemistry that works well.

The dude has some pretty good comedic timing.
Hey Tony, if you're reading this, you nailed it buddy. The new look is a mans, sophisticated, goth look as opposed to a high school goth look

Vanessa Lopes hahahahah omg yess!!!
This guy is very artistic and camera-friendly. He can do good on TV/Internet!
It's amazing how he comes out of his shell more and more towards the end of the video and smiles more! All because of his image and style
Is it me or does he give off a joker kinda vibe, or maybe it's just be the voice.
It's the smile
He does have a great body shape.
The refinement accentuates it and brings everything to a whole other level.
Great work!
the man bun was a great choice for him! i predicted it before you did it haha, but i love that look and totally wish more guys would sport it
Honestly thank you Alpha for making this episode. I always struggled with my outfits because I’m also Goth and like the edgy look. I really like that first and second outfit
Whoa that Navy Velvet suit! Perfection!!!
One of the very few mainstream people who have the intelligence of not making the "dark = negative" amalgam.
Mr Marino, you crushed it - wow!
Tony has the weirdest, coolest accent ever. It's so badass I don't know where to place it.
Aron I think you did a fantastic job with the transformation, this is by far my favorite transformation video that you posted. Keep up the good work!
I reckon it would be good if there was a update video showing us what the people he has helps look like now
Bring this show back, this was the best part of your channel man!
The best part is that Tony still has his style but just elevated
Dude!!! These videos are do great. Apha M is my favorite RUclips channel and its my favorite thing to watch. Alpha M projects really needs to show up on television.
Holy Freaking Crap, he looks amazing. It's still his style yet upgraded. I wish the best of luck to Tony .
I just started watching this channel and these type of videos a few days ago and this was probably my favorite episode so far. Very cool. Tony's demeanor transformation was just as cool as the style transformation. I'm pretty happy for a guy that I don't even know.
So much positivity in this comment feed!! I love it!!
yo tony looks like really chill, interesting, well spoken person, that's rare to find now a days. you definitely should not hate to look at yourself bc i get a sense of confidence with your gothic style.
Thanks, man.
Wow¡ Tonyyyy oh tony¡ you have made me redefine my thoughts about goth people.
Go punch depression on DA face¡ you are the man¡¡
+Maplenin Thanks
this dude rocks like a real gentleman. after that haircut, he started looking like some model tbh.
+6MasterWilly6 Thanks. I love HIM and The 69 Eyes, too.
This was a good one. Really appreciate you using stores that most are familiar with.
after watching many of his videos im still amazed about how he can say so much stuff about cloth and have the kind of reaction when he finds something that looks good etc etc and not sound steriotipically gay, im mean it can be hard to be a fashion dude without seeming a bit "gay" but he pulls it off so freaking good.
with "gay" i mean the kind you see in movies working in the cloth shop, im sure everyone knows what i mean, not trying to be offensive in any way.
For me personally its really refreshing to read the comments and there is no hate! Good job Aaron and Tony!
11:40 that wink though
Dang, this is one of the best transformation from Alpha M honestly. Looking good Tony!
The jacket he was wearing looked really cool!
The one with the Latin
This was by far the best Alpha M Project transformation!
Love what became of this. Aaron, if you aren't aware, your influence definitely stuck. He's got a great channel started up doin' goth style tips and rockin' it man. Check out Visage and Virtue.
+Eric the Red Mage Thanks for the shout out.
I wish I could RETAIN that sense of style and advice. you do a fantastic job, Mr. Alpha. You are kind, honest, and thoughtful.
This looks absolutely brilliant
I love everything about this video! the fact aaron didn't try to change tony's style but just update it was refreshing.
tony's style was kick ass to begin with but the updated looks took it next level
Anthony is someone i can identify with to some degree, for various reasons. Great job Aaron, accepting such an unconventional challenge.
Two really different but equally great personalities, unexpectedly good on-screen chemistry, really fun to watch and thoroughly entertaining. Awesome episode!
Just completely let that new look sink in, it looks amazing!
i liked the barber more when he sounded like a fallout ghoul
I can't believe what you can pull off alpha!!!! That is so awesome, I am so serious about changing the way I look, act, and live because of you it's incredible! This has got to be the best RUclips inspiration for bettering myself. Seriously alpha so cool can't wait to see the rest of your videos!
He was very good on camera!
My style is very Wolverine. Forest colors, grey white and black.. leather jacket.. flannels.. dark plain polos... brown shoes.. and a beautiful old school analog..
