I truly love how you include her in making the decision on where the meds go. You are an amazing mom. I know some days can be hard. Send you lots of positive vibe and strength. ❤
I know hard it is to never get a break from it. For both of you. The most important thing is for you 2 to avoid the power struggle and resentment that is inevitable. You are so fantastic. Your patience, and distraction techniques are excellent.
Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey. It’s so important that others see the daily struggles of mothers in hopes that the world might become a little more compassionate.
Lol bless you Mama 🤣 she was a diabetic bouncy butt😁😁. I'm glad big sister was there giving you both support! I love how all of your family is helping! It's hard when their body's are little and you are limited to where you can place each device. I'm thankful that you are helping Addie to kick diabetes butt. And I know it's tuff at times when she's scared and frightened of the pain. I see you Mama your doing a great job. Much Love from The Alexander's 🥰❤️
Now I see why you do it at night. It's easier for both of you. But still she's so good, pressing the buttons & everything. So independent & that's good for when she gets older. ❤️
Your so brave addy and it makes me really sad when you cry but it is okay to cry and have omosins and you no how the omepod used to hart and now it doesn't hurt any more yay addy you are so brave
my daughter just travelled and it took ages. She rang me because she was sad, alone and feeling awful. Diabetes just dicides everything for her. It is a struggle and I think you are an inspiration to other mothers in similar situations
I'm 35 now, and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 18 months old. Life's been hard with it, long story. Hanging in there though. My life was just like Addie's.
Horrible. Simply horrible. I’ve had this disease for over 20 years 😢 I would hate if my mother showcases my misery and her incompetence in this way on the internet.
I would say so too, but I've learned a lot from seeing these, I know its not good for her mother to just film her like this, but I've learned stuff from this and I think others have too.
She is not a princess. She is a queen. A true diva. Her mood changes in one second. You are so brave. I could not handle this child for 5 min even. The more as she has way more issues. So sad she she does not understand anything you tell her and that she cannot talk properly at 3 years old. And that she needs to be in diapers. A full time job for her mommy.
She's sooo young. Maybe you could try doing the process faster for her by preping as much as you can on your own and explaining to her just the last steps, when she is older it would make more sense and she would sit still for longer periods of time. I don't mean this in a mean way is just suggestion. You are made of steel mom💪🏻💪🏻
I’ve been following them for a little bit, and some of the videos seem to have the fast approach as the case. Maybe she’s not old enough for a full explanation yet, but I’m happy that momma is trying to get her to be cool with it.
I was thinking the same thing. Until she understands it has to be somewhere else just say today the pod needs to go here today. Such a hard situation to be in. I couldn’t imagine.
Hey I get the hole break thing but take it from me I used to take a hormone pen injection for my prator willie syndrome and we used to do it in same spot all the time same age as her never bothered not that that could be diffrent with her but it’s true on my end
But this isn't exactly like an an injection. It's like ripping off a Band-Aid on the same place every week or so (or whenever The dexcom/ omnipot needs to be changed) it could be really harmful for the kids skin.
I feel like next time she's about to get it changed and shes absolutely losing it (not while she's asleep) and doesn't want to, you should show her these videos! Particularly the ones where she does really well with the change, has she ever seen herself in the videos? If I had my kid with T1D I would try showing her a video of herself responding really well to encourage her and try and show her how strong she has been when changing sensors in the past! Plus my kiddo always laughs to see herself on video no matter WHAT is happening in the recording 🤣 could be worth a try once! ☺️
Is it difficult to teach her the importance of saying “no” in regards to people respecting her body when she doesn’t quite understand yet that it can’t apply to this?
Bro you try having diabetes it’s scary getting needles in your skin plus if she has it bad she will need that the rest of her life and she might need them to be able to live! So she is a super brave girl so you can think what you think and keep it to yourself heck look at your Chanel it’s not that good and the mom goes through a lot to do just shush it! 😡🤬

Wow, her bravery is on another level. We love you Addie and momma🥰❤️❤️
I was never had this disease and I want her to be like a good girl and a good human. I love you, Maddie.

You did so well Addie and Olivia did a great job supporting her your family is truly amazing ❤

It's always good to have a older sibling watch to learn how to help if she ever goes out with her and it falls off
It's really hard to watch
😢
Thank you Olivia for supporting her ❤
Imagine never getting a break from it. Both of them.
She is so strong, and fiercely brave. To see the woman you become one day will be a beautiful sight!
That is most cute , smart and brave girl I have ever seen
Your so brave addy and it makes me really sad when you cry but it is okay to cry and have omosins and you no how the omepod used to hart and now it doesn't hurt any more yay addy you are so brave
Brave addie..Your sissy Olivia and mommy Sam did a great job too.
Don't skip ads for Addie❤
my daughter just travelled and it took ages. She rang me because she was sad, alone and feeling awful.
Diabetes just dicides everything for her.
It is a struggle and I think you are an inspiration to other mothers in similar situations
Thats a good idea to let her choose and doing the everyday process together
Such a supportive big sister!!

Love 😍 You Brave Addie. God Bless You 😘
I have type 2 diabetes and I don't like finger pricks.
She is so brave today and yesterday I had to prick myself bc my sensor came of on the second day Addie is such a brave toddler bye .
This baby is so smart. I wont be surprised if she would do this by herself in months.
My husband is T1, I’m T2
Why do you give her so many high glycemic index foods?
Many better choices out there to teach her lasting lifelong habits.

Adie is so cute and brave love 💘
I can feel what she feels... M 26 still don't want to put my sensors and infusion set😖😖..Love her Alwz❣️
Addie is so cute
I am also a Dexcom user just like this little girl and I have heard that the skin needs to be cleaned with alcohol before applying the sensor.

Addie my love 💗
I love you both . I hope and pray you don't try to have another child 😢
I am feeling so sad i love you addie
I wish you lived in OKC. I'd help you and give you a break when you need it. Addi is so precious.
Brave baby 😘

GoodJob baby girl
i understand why addie is so sad. it’s hard having to have diabetes at such a young age, the pod is so big compared to her
Addie good little girl....
If I was the pope I'd make you a saint
I hate it when my kids fight me to put on their omnipods or their other one
How often do you need to change both of them?
I have type 1 diabetes with the dexcom G6
Do you have the same chips?
I see how u did not wanna fight with her but letting her get her way is gonna make her think that that's how life works
Addie is so cute. You seem like a really great Mom. When did you find out she was a diabetic?
Very brave and cute little girl
Angelito, que resignación!! Mi hijo debutó con 12 años
🐕 we got to put your pod on
Her ok
I. Love. her
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cutie
I'm sorry I'm confused why her mom need to put pod two time at same time
One of them checks her blood sugar constantly while the other injects insulin as needed
@@savannahevans6233 ah tysm for explaining to me
One checks her blood sugar and the other one gives her insulin when her blood sugar is high.
I have the pump

cute baby
baby 🥺
Why does she wear both pods?
One is an insulin pump to give her insulin when she needs it one is to monitor her blood sugars so she can make she her blood sugar is good
Yes shes not happy 😓😔😔😔
I feel so bad for her. She’s so young to be fighting diabetes. Maybe you shouldn’t give her options and just do it. You are a amazing mom!
I was thinking the same thing. Until she understands it has to be somewhere else just say today the pod needs to go here today. Such a hard situation to be in. I couldn’t imagine.
She should choose
@@emilymayholden4789 this was over a year
I luv u Addie my darling
❤️👍😢

Sehat selalu cantik🥰🥰
Don’t you put it on her other arm? Yeah, do that instead of her doing that mom
how old is she
Para q le preguntas, donde quiere el aparato?si luego la vas a contrariar....no se? Me parece q te buscas los problemas tu solita mama!
What is she feeding this child?
Well yeah I would be to after telling somebody I want my shot in one spot but then they say we have to different spot like it’s my body my decisions
Hey I get the hole break thing but take it from me I used to take a hormone pen injection for my prator willie syndrome and we used to do it in same spot all the time same age as her never bothered not that that could be diffrent with her but it’s true on my end

Also omg, the tiny white toenails 🤣 adorable
Also, have you tried not counting down to it or building up to it? She may hate that more but it might also help to not anticipate it so intensely.
Super Nahrung für ein kleines Kind.
Is it difficult to teach her the importance of saying “no” in regards to people respecting her body when she doesn’t quite understand yet that it can’t apply to this?
Total, disgusto y cabreo para nada necesitas ayuda mama y mucha pero para ti y tu forma de plantear las cosas
