Had the opportunity to handle this beauty at the Jack Links tournament in Florida a few months back. Videos and pictures don’t do it justice. It’s stunning and handles well.
Another great review. I just picked up my second Guerini (Magnus 20ga, Forum 12ga). Really nice guns. Somehow the engraving still leaves me cold, compared to my old English SXS's. I miss the uniqueness that comes from hand engraving.
The Invictus IX is a beautiful thing, there is no question about that BUT it is still only an Invictus action and at £12k I feel it is £3-4k above where it should sit. I think the sale values will be 'interesting'. And I say this as a CG fan who shoots with an Invictus III Ltd Ascent.
Well, at $20,995 (MSRP / USA)…..I don’t think I’ll be purchasing one in the near future. In my collection of shotguns I own an Invictus One Ascent, nice shotgun but not my “go to” gun for competitive shooting. As Lloyd mentioned in his review, there are guns such as Perrazzi and Kreighoff that are in that price point…..it all boils down to what you want!
Bottom line is dollar for dollar no other competition gun is as affordable as the Invictus 9 with this level of engraving or wood. You would be looking at almost 40% more with the dt11 eell and for the krieghoffs a lot more. The Invictus 9 has the game of thrones engraving as I like to call it. It is probably the best looking competition shot gun on the planet.
looks great , but i would need an advantage to be had in the breaking clays area to part with that kind of cash for it. That's just me though. For those with deeper pockets yes a lovely gun!
i think the comments i would get would be "you paid how much for a Guerini?!!!" However I have shooting buddies who have sold their Perazzi's and bought a Guerini so they must be good.
@@lloydyp * That weight is fine for a target gun, or one that is used for shooting driven birds. For " rough " bird hunting that's to heavy. Besides it only has a single trigger, that's not very efficient out in the field.
It's amazing to me that high end shotguns, 10-12K and up come with very poor wood most of the time. Kolar, by far, uses the nicest wood. I really think certain manufactuers would sell far more guns if they were not so damn cheap on the wood. A guy wants his high end gun to look fabulous. Much of the engraving is over way done. Then they put a damn fence post on a 10K and up shotgun, often 12-15K guns have mediocre wood at best. I have a K80 and paid a lot extra for nicer wood. That gun was far more than 15K.

Dollar to dollar i'd vote cg is hard to beat in the upper end of guns, the wood finish etc
Very nice looking gun. Thanks for sharing Lloyd.
Just awesome! Nice review.
That stunning !
I haven’t seen one in the flesh yet for two of my friend says it takes a lot of beating !!
Great review as always, Lloyd 👍
Fantastic looking gun

Agree. If I’m paying that amount I’d rather go Perazzi or Krieghoff
Great review!
Have you had your hands on a Sauer Apollon?
Specs by Sauer and made by Fausti.
If so, how was it?
Fantastic review and fantastic gun.

Agreed but no other company has the warranty and service CG has.
Yes definitely perazzis and k80s however both plain Janes.
I really enjoy your reviews
Thanks mike
Gracias Lloyd por mostrar el maravilloso mundo de las escopetas sobre todo esta hermosura de arma, para uno un sueño

Beautiful
When someone makes a gun as nice as my Baikal IJ58 I'll buy two.

Very fancy looks like handling well cost price is a bit well to much for me I bought a limited 32"12 bore...Great guns from. Caesar Guerini
Nice gun ,but I prefer an oil finish The snail is 2:47 in and is worth stopping to look at the other beasts in the engraving .
Oooo sooooo shiny!!!!!!!!!! Come on where's the snail! :O LOL
actually, like that gun. sometimes the engravings can be to much(Beretta) My favorite part is the forend
I shoot a CG Invictus 1 Sporting, ( 32 inch ) and love it. Very clean & plain in respect to the engraving, compared to this one the Invictus IX.

Wspaniala bron.

In other words no it’s not worth the £12k price tag I agree with you if you’re going to spend that sort of money it would be a Krieghoff

Hi loyd . You going to masters
No mate, it's a hell of a drive for a non registered shoot.
* Nice looking gun, but I don't like the satanic symbols in the engraving.
A nice bit of shooting eye candy, the gun not you Sir.
Awwwww :(
@@lloydyp OK Lloyd, you're girl bait too😉
