Another work around for the "run as admin" is right click, go to properties -> compatibility -> tick always run as admin. That way you can just click to open up
I recommend trying to disable "Enable hardware acceleration in the browser" if the overlays seem laggy when entering the game, this solved my problem. It's in settings, advanced, in the sources section. Oh and test by recording, not streaming.

Before that it was fine ,i can easily stream and play with no lags,then now its like if my gameplay dont lag, the output video will lag so much. if outputs dnt lag then the game will lag.(I have rygen3 processor and 8Gb RAM laltop)....i reset the settings but the lag continues
This is for dropped frames in OBS Studio... Not increasing FPS in your game. If you need help increasing you FPS ive got a few videos on that as well :)
I fixed it by changing something, unfortunately my motherboard died just the other night so I can't even see what I did. Base and canvas were 3840x2160 Nvidia encoder was the new Av1 maxed out without issues in Sdr. I have a question whenever I attempt to stream in 4k hdr. My network locks to 6Mbps, yet I have a 2.3Gbps internet connection. Sdr uses 52Mbps no issues, HDR 6Mbps, and dropped frames.
My issue I keep having is that I am lagging backwards in the game and getting hits in that I shouldn't, I am thinking it is because of obs because I don't normally have this problem.
@@mooshu96 I ended up switching to Streamlabs after tons of trial and error and so far I am only getting a bit of framerate drops every so often with that so it is a lot better than any of the other ones I have tried. If you are still having the problem I suggest going to stream labs ^^

Sounds like instability with the interent. Just because the internet doesnt go "out" doesnt mean its not stable. Run OBS in test mode for 10 minutes and see how many packets you lose.

At the bottom of OBS it gives you the status of your stream. Including bitrate, packetloss info and frames dropped if any. All the info you need to know if its working correctly

I disabled Hardware acceleration in my browser and that fixed my issue.
Never stream on Mac, as all these tricks wouldn’t help. Bought the latest MacBook Pro and used it for 5months and it’s lagging

log out of your twitch in OBS and log back in using admin mode

make sure your monitors settings are proper and your Video Card Driver is up to date.

also been experiencing this issue, my gpu will go to 100% at some points and my whole pc lags

Yes, it just doesnt show you the preview, but this saves ALOT of stress from your processor

Try going into OBS settings and go to "HOTKEYS".
Set a hotkey from preview mode on/off. SAVE the settings. Then try using it after you close settings.
