To the people complaining about battery life who tf has time to play for more then 1 hour 😒 its great for what it is i use it in dock mode at my desk as my pc when im not using it for work i get to take a break play for like 30 minutes then im back to the grind 😎 its smooth , its sleek and it works with everything ive been enjoying mine and i love that everything i need fits into one backpack
I always wonder this lol. Where are these people playing at on a regular basis to not be able to just plug in, and if you can't plug in, just don't play a AAA game while you're away from an outlet. Surely, these people own less taxing games lol.
Exactly I just customize everytime lol I rarely play. I just love messing with it. I couldn't wait to sell my Steam Deck to get my hands on this bad Boi. I REGRET ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The weight, bruh that's nothing, SCREEN is giving UGA BUGA all day, the battery life, the fuck is that THE SCREEN IS GIVEN UGA BUGA and I rarely play more than an hour if I ever play lol. I just download games and love looking at my screen 😍
Sometimes when im camping and my family falls asleep early, Id rip my steamdeck for a couple hours. That's the only time I could see it being an issue. This thing is dope af tho and I'm so glad I finally got one. It's also the best handheld for remote streaming an Xbox. Works really well.
I agree, I play in spurts and if I feel that I'm going to be playing for more than an hour I'll just play connected to power, this device fits my life perfectly
I love mine!!! Got a skin put on it, screen protector, and filling up the ssd with games. Its alot better than i thought it would be!!!! It dose have some negatives, but still well worth it.
Starting with Steam Deck, I knocked the decision around for a while to see if I'd go ROG Ally or Legion Go... or just stick with my Deck. Then my coworker got an Ally and she basically handed it off to me for a day to say do whatever I wanted with it... and I learned very quickly that it just wasn't what I wanted. Legion Go on the other hand. The kickstand, detachable controller and USB port versatility, beautiful screen, FPS mode... and yes 144Hz... that all offered me something I couldn't get on my Steam Deck. And sure enough, now that I have a Legion Go, I sold my Deck. And at no point and time have I regretted getting the Go over the Ally.
How did you get such smooth performance on silent hill 2? I do agree with you, the Legion Go is the best windows handheld after using the ROG ally and ally x
There are so many posts saying it's heavy. It's a beast for sure, but seriously, it rests well on any surface, let alone I love the weight. I don't disconnect the controllers that much because they are too light. Best machine ever. It runs all games at ultra settings with amd integer scaling and fluid motion frames x2. Epic PC 800p looks like 1080p hands down
With working away from home up to 3 to 4 days at a time this thing is all i need, love how it has two usb charging points too. I plug in my 1st Gen Xreal air glasses and away i go, my own personal cinema, currently playing Black Ops 6 and getting up to 100fps on a AAA title on a handheld. I didn't think things could get any better after owning a Deck and an Ally til this behemoth came along, love how people complain about the weight an size 😂 stick to the Ally with its tiny screen to go with your tiny hands. Also playing Forza Horizon 5 on quality graphics settings and getting over 60fps...nuff said.
I have a steam deck oled, an Rog ally x and a Lenovo legion go. My biggest gripe with the Lego is Lenovo doesn’t do enough to keep the drivers update. If they showed it a little more tlc I would say it would be better the. The ally x minus the battery. But since they don’t it is the 2nd best windows handhelds out there.
As a person with bigger hands the controls could actually be a little bigger 😂 My gaming PC lost its purpose because of this thing. It's too convenient and works well. Elden Ring on lunch breaks? YUP! *In John C Reilly voice*
Legion go real life battery time , diablo 2 resurrected medium grafik 2 hours , indi games 3-4 hours ! Best screen from all handhelds , best controllers (halleffect), touchpad , its perfect handheld now for a great price! The start price was to high but now , trust me guys its not a cheap plaster bomber like steamdeck or rog alley , its premium !
yes battery is a big L but still beautiful device .. the screen. the ram does sucks but the games do run. as the rog ally x still love my legion go 🔥🔥🔥
@@adamgad421 brother its a pc .. so you can download apps. so it shouldnt be a problem injust use it for gaming watch videos . and that screen i tell you rog ally x is smooth but the screen too small .. if only the remove those bazels perfect device
you can get 3/5 hours with p much any game 1 to 2 if its intensive if you tweak your settings right. especially with 800p and hyper rx. I dont think its too bad since I switch between couch and pc when needed this way.

How good is it for just Tablet usage? i had the Lenovo Legion y700 Tablet but sold it because i would like a Windows Machine more it had the same weight as the Tablet with Case so weight is fine for me i also could Double Boot with Android OS so its more a Allrounder for me just the Tickness for Tabletmode is where im not sure if its good enough to Hold?
id say y700 2023 is a better tablet but if you only have 1 tablet. legion go is a great windows tablet. it like microsoft surface pro but lil bit thick its not that bad its a great tablet.
There are no issue with hibernation on ally at all i don't know what are you smoking. Both are windows handheld how can both be so different. I get it its that gorgeous screen but after a few months you will probably miss armory crate and everything because legion go just excel in screen but sucks in everything from controller ergonomics to software. The legion space feels like a bloatware to sell you stuff and it takes up valuable ram resources too.
I hear so much Armory Crate hate lately, then you get on Facebook tech groups and they're stanning it. Maybe it is true what they say about Facebook users being behind 😂
The speakers are trash The dpad sucks It is heavy and uncomfortable Legion space is unreliable No legion software support And stutters more than any other handheld The things I like are the screen size and kickstand
Sorry but the battery is just a big L for the legion. The big screen is great but pointless if you play untethered as you only get an hour. This compared to the ally x doesn’t compare. You can add an external monitor powered by the ally x and still get longer gaming time than this.
u mustve forgotten that asus released multiple ally to fix quality issues.ally x mightve had bigger ram and bigger battery but that just it. they play and run the same game with difference of 10 to 15stable fps. ally x isnt 150fps better than lego. lenovo didnt release new legion because they dont need to fix anything asap. yes the battery is weaker but who on earth plays outside home for more than 2hrs without needing to stop doing something? i had 1 hr and 45mins of play time when im outside playing plus i have a car charger and a power bank that capable of charging lego 100% for 2x. i always need that break from 1hr or so of gaming so battery could be better but it wasnt really a huge problem.
@@Rr-j4x that’s good for you bub. I’ve had all 3 and settled on the x. You’re saying more ram and bigger battery like it isn’t a big deal 😂. Of course it’s big deal for gaming. It’s a handheld device so getting a 3 hr session is crazy to achieve on this. The thermals have all been changed to the point games I’ve ran hot in the past barely even turn the fan on. The Lenovo has a nice big screen which carries weight and battery draw. If you want a bigger screen play it on a monitor. I love seeing people hate on the x because they know it’s better. As long as you’re happy with the legion go that’s all that matters but from ally original to the x there’s massive improvements. Add that with afmf frame generation and it’s crazy powerful. All you’re boasting about is a bigger screen that’s it and it isn’t even vrr.
@@RobnDob no its not so if it does why still steamdeck relevant now? just because ally x is 5% better than lego it doesnt mean lego couldnt do what ally x could. lego could literally ran games that ally could just with 10 to 15 more fps. i would agree if the ally has new chip but no it uses the same z1 ext inside the lego🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

1600p is irrelevant. Most games won’t run at all or run well with it and it’s pointless for that size of screen. 1200p is just the equivalent of 1080
